He seems to like them. He's had them for bout 4 months and so far they're holding up. I use the Protex2 Leather Training glove and it's pretty good for the cost. They have good cushioning and decent wrist support. I got em for like $75. I think most of those everlast gloves are still on sale at titleboxing.com. In fact the $200 Protex3 are on sale for like $135. Which sounds like a good deal. MidnightSpecial 12-12-2009, 12:34 PM the gel seems like a cool thing but i just can imagine it making difference except for bag gloves. most gels have a little less padding and the gel inserts are usually really small in comparison to the glove. I would go with a traditional glove with traditional padding. but that being said you should check out Ringside and Title because they have some REALLY good deals going on. they have a boxing kit for like 80 bucks with a pair of IMF tech's in there along with much more.
