...according to Emanuel Steward.

Question: Is that more of a thing where he knows now in the gym that if he goes 10-12 rounds in the gym, he can do that with no problem?

Steward: Yes, I think that is very important. We have had a problem of slowing him down. It is interesting. We talk about Wladimir, here is a guy who had 50 professional fights – which I was shocked when I looked at his record – and was basically, aside from the Corrie Sanders fight, a guy never known for stamina problems. He was always a patient fighter who normally wore guys out and knocked them out in the late rounds, but because of one fight, primarily.

The guy is not very bright. I've saying they need to fire this guy for quite some time now.

I guess anybody would have stamina problems after being floored again and again. Just my opinion.

Reading that, I would guess he meant to say Brewster.

Wladimir should sign up with Lou Duva. Lou Duva is the best trainer.

I have not seen betting threads for Wladimir's fight? Why is that? No one cares anymore?

He had to have meant the Brewster fight. Stamina cannot even be judged in 2 rounds, especially when you've been knocked down 3 times.

but you also gotta throw in the Ross Purity fight. wlad also collasped in that fight as well.

in no way was the loss to Sanders a stamina issue!

I kind of thought he meant Wlad's patience, cause once Wlad was knocked down the first time he panicked and tried to trade when he should have boxed his way out of it. He could have easily jabbed his way out of that trouble if he was instructed to.

He meant Brewster, as stated by others. He tanked out big time. He was winning that fight and then just ran out of gas.

uh....no. It would be "lack of chin" related.

True, how does Steward explain the Darryl Williamson knock down in Wlad`s last fight? Another endurance problem?
Why can`t everyone just say the truth, Wlad has very bad punch resistance!

I remember Steward lecturing Evander Holyfield during the Lewis rematch press conferrence. He was mocking Evander for making excuses for his losses. What a hiprocrite, Steward just can`t admitt that his fighters were less than perfect before they lost. Its only after that Steward thinks up massages as an excuse!
