View Full Version : Does Audrey Harrison actually want to be a professional fighter?
Martin (Top Knowledge) 04-20-2005, 06:08 PM What's happening with Audrey Harrison?... He's been injured for ages!
I was just thinking today, does he actually want to be a professional fighter? Or does he just like the idea of being a professional fighter?
I was thinking, - If he was really really serious about his professional career he'd have moved it along a bit quicker than he has?
He won the Gold Medal 5 years ago, and is barely in a position to challenge for the British title let alone a major World title!
Have we heard the last of Audrey?
The Fix 04-20-2005, 06:39 PM he might be ready to fight for a title in the next 7 years or so.
i think he just likes the paychecks and doesnt want to get hurt, i dont see him doing any damage in the near future or ever.
!! Anorak 04-20-2005, 06:49 PM I reckon he's got 2028 pencilled in...

I reckon you're right...
He thinks he's bigger than he is, and will only get in the ring if they pay him $1,000,000
He's afraid of being hurt and is not prepared 6to fight for anything less... Maybe why that's he's fought all journeymen up untill now? Coz' he's afraid? :dunno:

I hope so, this guy makes me sick. He has sat on his gold medal and tried to make as much money as possible off it without fighting anyone with a pulse. Hardly someone with a hunger for the title. He is a disgrace!
markosg19 04-21-2005, 09:37 AM the guy will end up being outpointed by some top 20 fighter and then beg williams and skelton for a fight. He just has no desire......He's more interested in business and celbrity than being an actual fighter
Martin (Top Knowledge) 04-21-2005, 02:15 PM I wonder if there are actually any Audrey fans out there?
He took £1,000,000 of British TV liscence payers money, and then strung out 15 bum fights over 4 years :nono:
I'm certainly not a fan... I think he's taken everyone for a ride!

the post fight interviews were a lot more intresting than the fights themselves, the negus interview in paticular was very funny, and garry richardson always gave him a hard time
joeboxer 04-21-2005, 03:26 PM I reckon he's got 2028 pencilled in...
Ya he does. 2028 Harrison vs. Mike Tyson for the heavyweight championship of the world. Watch. It will happen. And somebody on this site will still pick Tyson.
!! Anorak 04-21-2005, 05:35 PM I remember when Richardson accidentally called him Audrey.

i think he asked herbie hide why he was calling him audrey, and hide said he thought that was his name :D richardson is a rottweiler in those interviews :D
Martin (Top Knowledge) 04-21-2005, 06:52 PM Does anyone know any info on him?... Is he actually gonna fight in the U.S?, Or did he just take Brit TV liscence payer's money buy a house in Las Vegas and run?
I'm kinda getting the feeling he was a bit of a scam?
