This is very interesting. I think it favors Wright to weigh in on the same day as they are fighting. Tito is the true middleweight and he could suffer from dehydration, whereas Winky would probably weigh the same whether it was the day before or not since he is a 154 lber. I don't know how much this will affect the fight though. One can never tell. Thoughts?

Weighing in the day of the fight is how every fight should be done. There's nothing I hate more than seeing two guys fighting for a title at a certain weight class come into the ring weighing 10-15 lbs more. It makes no sense. The fighters should be weighed in as close to fight time as possible, maybe 30 minutes or so before the fight.
I hate that some guys starve themselves to make weight then pack on 15 lbs for the fight to try and gain an advantage, it's ridiculous. Guys should be fighting at their natural weights. Some of these guys are all skin and bones at the weigh ins, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that the weight they are weighin in at isn't a natural weight for them OR even a fighting weight for them, they pack on the pounds as soon as they get off the scales.
I'd much rather see them weigh in about 30 minutes before a fight.
