Any predictions on the future of Morales? Should he move up, down, or stay where he is?

Stay where he is, he just underestimated MAB and thought it was an easy fight.

Start fighting the real 130-pounders and stop the 126-pounders to come to him. That is silly!!!

He has fought real 130-pounders. Just cus Barrera moved up doesnt mean everyone he has at 130 has.

From whom, from Barrera? Barrera before the fight said he will go back to 126 after the fight. Do you think Barrera will do as he said or will he be forced to defend his new title at 130? I'm a little bit confuse here. I don't know if I got it right. Did Barrera ever realize that he had to defend his crown if he wins it from Morales?

I would though Pacquiao will naturally want to fight MAB who was the winner tonight. It will take time before Pacquiao fights him now that MAB won the title.

Point taken, but I admire more those guys chasing opponents at the higher divisions even though they know are at a disadvantage.

okey then why not fight Nanthachai Yodsanan at 130 for a starter or JMM at 126?

i totally agree with this and i think we will still see Pac-Em fight, the story just got a little bit more interesting, with both MAB & JMM in the mix...

This two fight is also good and will also prove a point that he is not done...

but i would love to see em fight jmm first before yodsanan ...

He should stay where he is ... it will be interesting to see how he does against the other top fighers in that weight class, he he does fight everyone.

I don't think the 3k battery would be a safe fight for Morales because Yodsanan is one of the most underrated fighters in all of boxing. Best stick with JMM at 126.

I gave Morales the 11th but still had losing the fight. MAB deserved the decision, the judges got it right.

Morales is a top fighter. MAB won the fight the best morales could have hoped for was a draw. The turning point in the fight was the second round when MAB got him with that uppercut right to the point of the nose. That was a sore one. That may have broke his nose. He could move to lightweight. If i were him i would stay and fight PAC MArquez and Barerra again.

Morales is still an awsome fighter in his own right. He should hang out at 130.

Barrera just derailed all of his future plans. its funny how he's trying to move up and on and Barrera is somewhat bringning him back ala "Where the **** do you think you're going" lol

i would love erik morales to face manny pacquaio. i dont want him to fight barrera again, 3 times is more than enough. that chapter should be closed, barrera is better than him, he should accept it and move on. either fight pacman or move up to 135 pounds, i think he would struggle there though.
