****in Chuck and Tito? Really? Who wants to see this fight? Why would Tito agree to this? :grumble:

way to hype their fight, Chuck got aced in his last fight and Tito failed to beat Forrest.

Chuck already KOed Tito twice. Chuck doesn't even have to train for this. Maybe its Dana letting Chuck finish his career on a high note. My prediction. Tito's team destroys Chucks Team and Liddell beats Tito.....

At this stage I think Tito will squeeze a decision but if Tito wins what does it prove?

He's 1-2 Vs Chuck?..

Tito was calling Chuck out actually. He must think Chuck is shot enough to give himself a chance.

On a side note, looks like another season I won't be watching.

Tito is a great coach actually, and it's fun watching Chuck try and put together intelligible sentences. I'll see who is on the show before I decide to watch or not...

i have no interest in that fight, and wont watch that season of TUF

If they are both going to fight again, its a good match up. UFC will do anything for money but they at least keep it competitive. At this point they are both not elite.

ufc's been on a pretty steady decline in quality of late imo ... this choice in matchup is another example of that fact

That's true actually, Tito is a good coach. He still annoys the ****ing hell out of me though. I've actually been sick of the series for some time.

Think its a good choice of coaches, the series will be entertaining, who do you guys expect to be coaches, people like Machida or Silva?? They not exactly fluent in English are they. GSP and Koscheck would be good I think. Chuck and Tito will be great entertainment value, they are both characters and genuinely don't like each other.

what a waste.....who would ever want to see these two guys fight again. i can already see how the ufc will over hype this fight to make money. im not watching.

Okay first to get how I feel out about this ... when I heard this, I was absolutely disgusted ... by putting Liddell as a coach on Ultimate Fighter again, Dana kills 2 birds with one stone

1. being on the show is good hype for Chuck's in ring return

and more importantly 2. He's matched up vs Ortiz someone he's already beaten 2x. Dana dropped the ball in matching Chuck vs Evans and Rua, he's on the money with this fight

blatant pathetic attempt to gift Liddell a win. I mean jeez, it's gotten to the point where Dana is making a fight with a guy that Chuck has already beaten twice

**Jardine as a head coach would be a better selection as he's somebody Chuck hasn't beaten, but for TV purposes + rivalry Ortiz is much more colorful.

On a side note, looks like another season I won't be watching.

eh pretty tempted as well to not watch. im lukewarm on Ortiz and cannot stand Liddell ... but for some reason if this makes sense im still drawn to watching the ones I dislike

ufc's been on a pretty steady decline in quality of late imo ... this choice in matchup is another example of that fact

yeah since I've networked with some friends from school, I've been catching a lot more UFC then usual and begun to notice what you said (I bolded it.)

I feel the match making for the UFC took a hit right around 102, and one of of my biggest issues was

1. Jadine going from the Main Event @ 96 to co-main event of 102

but this (chuck vs tito for a 3rd time) is one of the worst match ups

what a waste.....who would ever want to see these two guys fight again. i can already see how the ufc will over hype this fight to make money. im not watching.

yeah pretty tempted not to watch as well.

if/when Liddell wins do you think he'll ride of into the sunset, or continue on?

This is going to be the most pathetic season of TUF ever.

You thought the last two were bad? Just wait

I bet they do some fake confrontations on the show to promote the fight.

dana doesnt care about head to head records he wants to squeeze as much money as he can out of tito and liddell's his boy so hes gona put him up against a grappler with no standup just like 90% of chucks carreer...hes done this before he let rampage get a win over a finished wandy

i thought it was gona be vitor and anderson

TUF is so ****ing played out. Really they should stop doing it. It's a waste of time and over half of the guys coming out of the last several seasons of TUF have been given their walking papers.

I remember several years ago Dana said he had no intention of doing a reality show, now that the first season was so successful, it's never going to ****ing end.

Not to mention nobody wants to see two old, washed up, broken down, past their prime fighters.

But at least there are no titles being tied up.

i think tito is shot, too, though...this is a 50 -50 fight. who wants it more. i'd like to see chuck knock tito out again, though, just so tito can't talk about how great he is

i was thinking we'd see vitor and spider next but neither of them can speak english, it'd be funny to hear them cuss each other out in portugese though

yeah, he was good at coaching, he should quit fighting and just open up his own MMA school or something

ufc's been on a pretty steady decline in quality of late imo ... this choice in matchup is another example of that fact

yeah, dana's been trying to squeeze more money out but people keep getting injured and he's forced to pump out ****ty fights and TUF has been going down in quality, more drama, lower skilled fighters. every season i think, damn, last seasons guy's would kick these guys asses

Not to mention nobody wants to see two old, washed up, broken down, past their prime fighters.

While I agree with the above we dunno how the rest of the MMA + UFC fights fans feel about that. because I expect the show to do very good ratings

and im pretty sure there's enough dumb fans to buy Ortiz/Liddell 3.

but the facts are Tito is coming off a fight where he didn't look so great (particularly in the 3rd round)

and Liddell hasn't won since UFC 79

hopefully people can see through this garbage and not buy the PPV

**watch Dana hype it as Liddell's last fight to get more attention for the fight.
