Ultimately nothing more than a confidence builder for Enzo, but he came through it with flying colours. Great to see him back and winning. :boxing::fing02: ibnabdullah 12-05-2009, 09:35 PM I've just got back from the arena - crunching body shot from Enzo ended it and he'd nearly had Jaksi on the floor a few times before that. It was nice to see everyone cheering khan today.normally he gets a few boos. Dirty Sanchez 12-05-2009, 09:54 PM awesome. It was nice to see everyone cheering khan today.normally he gets a few boos. Yeah the atmosphere was great for Khan, the whole arena seemed to be behind him. His performance more than lived up to the atmosphere as well! I think everyone was just on a high that we had a world title fight in the city again - it's been a long time. Napalm Death 12-05-2009, 11:31 PM good to see he wasnt beaten up again. his fight with lebedev was brutal. paulf 12-06-2009, 02:06 AM Glad he didnt hang em up. Hes a good guy with some bad luck. Blairhoyle792 12-06-2009, 12:19 PM I rematch with Ola Afolabi should be his next fight. Schism 12-06-2009, 12:19 PM Enzo should really retire. ----------- 12-06-2009, 12:41 PM Enzo needs another 2-3 fights like this, then someone british level, then an Afolabi rematch. This can all be done next year if hes active, he should start knocking bums out left, right and centre like early in his career. Good sparring, and keep active. P.s. anyone got any vids or pictures of the fight? mrboxer 12-06-2009, 02:22 PM anyone? :boxing:i do not know, who, have you found out yet,let me know if you find out who won:boxing: ibnabdullah 12-06-2009, 05:13 PM i do not know, who, have you found out yet,let me know if you find out who won:boxing: Enzo won by first round KO. roe 12-07-2009, 04:49 AM Enzo needs another 2-3 fights like this, then someone british level, then an Afolabi rematch. P.s. anyone got any vids or pictures of the fight? Yeah I agree. Any talk of Enzo going back in for any stupid WBO interim or intercontinental malarky is pointless in my opinion. Enzo now needs a solid year of 4 or 5 fights to stay busy where he can slowly get better and rebuild his confidence. Maybe aim for a British or European title fight and then at the end of the year, early in 2011, he should be ready to challenge the genuine elite in the Cruiserweight division (ie Huck, Afolabi, Cunningham, Flores, Ross etc). I really hope that Enzo follows this route rather than the typical Frank Warren aka WBO route. |
