I thought that the final scores were extremely odd.

Barrera should have won by a huge margin.

I would love to see a rematch of Barrera with Pacman.

Look at the first two fights between them...arguably the wrong guy got the decision in both!

This judging side of the modern boxing is really depressing.

I picked Morales to win before the fight but I had it 118-111 Barrera.

From the description of it i read ( Rick's excellent round by round commentary ), i think Barrera won every round but one. But, with today's judges, **** man, i cringe before every decision is announced these days. i think some of us should go down to our local amateur boxing assocs and take the course called Boxing Officiating, so we can become judges and set these ****ers straight

i think these judges need to have there head checked if they think barrera won that match

Sounds like you'd make an excellent judge - you'd fit right in...

I agree I think him and his brother are from different fathers or something! I hear there gonna show the replay saturday b4 the Taylor/Joppy fight. True? I need to see this I had Morales for the fight but as i've read the Jusdges score card doesnt realy reflect the blowout by MAB. True?
mAN i CANT WAIT TO SEE THIS FIGHT!

I scored the fight 116-112 but the fight wasn't a blowout for Barrera. Both men had there moments but Barrera just seemed to be more effective throughout the fight. It was a great fight even better than the first fight.

I finally decided to buy a pay per view fight, because after the first II wars between these men i figured this was the fight to watch. I was definietly right this was a great fight where both fighters had there moments. I had the fight 115-113, but what really surprised me was in the middle of the fight when barrara hit morales in the back of the head twice with NO point deduction. The ref said before the fight in the dressing rooms that any intentional illegal blow would lead to a deduction of points. If he would have taken points then the fight would have been a draw. However the rounds that barrara won were MUCH more convincing than the rounds won by Morales. Anyone up for BARRARA VS. MORALES IV???????

The really depressing thing is that the judges that already made some huge mistakes are allowed to judge further fights. I think I've read somewhere that one of the judges that scored last nights fight gave DLH the victory over Sturm. Why they allow him to carry on is beyond my understanding.

As a first order approximation, for purposes of local travel, yes.

Well, regardless of your approximation, Sturm still won the fight.

Because of the jab ?

Mainly because of him outpunching, outworking and outboxing DLh in at least 7 rounds including the 12th.

I think the judges did a good job... I had MAB ahead by a single point too...
