"To be straight-up honest, the last time I was at this weight, I was in middle school," he said.

When asked how the process was going, he replied, "Not good. Moody. You just don't feel the same. It's mental, but it's not a good feeling to be honest with you. I'm a little anxious. It's everything mental."

Slice, who moved his training to the world-renowned American Top Team after the taping of the show, was a little less forthcoming about his time there.

To wit, this exchange:

Reporter: "Overall, how do you feel about the experience at American Top Team the last couple months of preparation?"

Slice: "For what it's worth, I guess it's OK."

Reporter: "That's it? Just OK?"

Slice: "Yeah."

What a fuzzball.

He's listed at 230 on Sherdog. If he can't cut an extra 15 pounds, from his weight, he's in the wrong buisiness.

I wrestled at 130 my senior year of HS, which was 7 years ago. Pay me enough and I could still make the weight.

Also, you'd think he would've learned how to talk to the press by now.

Houston should be able to knock him out, he's a lot faster, has power and better with the leg kicks.

Kimbo has a punchers chance, that's it.

honestly, im sick of people downing a guy just cause he happens to be kimbo.
did anyone say anderson silva was a ***** and scared of belfort cause hes gone for surgery ? or GSP scared of Hardy/Swick cause hes also got an injury ?

Ha! They made the fight a catch weight at the last minute. Kimbo came in at 212.

People keep saying why doesn't Kimbo learn this, why doesn't Kimbo do this, do that? ITS BECAUSE THE MAN ISN'T AN ATHLETE. He's an old bumfightin' street thug. He surrounds himself with sycophants, goes to train with good people, but doesn't listen when things get tough and he's pushed.

Its not even an old dawg, news tricks deal. He's made all his money the easy way as a fighter. Sittin' around, smoking dope, doing enough weights to keep himself looking good, fighting bums. He's not about to run his ass off, train three times a day in a tough camp, or make a run for legitimacy when he can do what he's always done and still get paid a hundred grand a fight.

houston is older than kimbo, 37, and i expect him to win this easily. i can see the fight happening like this, houston will bumrush kimbo and get him in the muy thai clinch and f.uck him up with the knees. i like kimbo but this fight is a worse nightmare for him than james mcsweeney. alexander is useless on his back but if he takes u down, like he will do to kimbo, he'll pound ur ass out

I don't mind admitting that my pick was wrong, but they both looked like **** imo. Basically two ****ty fighters Going at it. Houston was never much anyways, but he seems to have slipped a bit more. Kimbo’s gotte n better, but his ceiling is pretty low imo.

To be fair to Kimbo though, he's never had to do it before. Plus, if you look at this pic from the Nelson fight:

which I'm actually not allowed to post, but if you google Kimbo Slice Roy Nelson there's one of the ref holding up Nelson's hand with Kimbo next to him.

He doesn't look like he has a lot of room to lose weight easily. He holds that 230-235 really well. He made it down, and it should be easier for him if he has to do it again just because he's done it once already and knows how it feels.

Was it just me, or did Alexander look scared? Those 2 slams Kimbo did were great. Other wise, I scored it 2-1 Alexander.
The thing I dont get is Kimbo fought better in
that other organization. Against Thompson he
threw good combo's. Last night he looked very stiff. Weird........

yeah, me too. i was happy for kimbo, he actually looked good, he can ground and pound a lil now. if ATT keeps teaching him some more wrestling to go with his brawling style, kimbo can be a decent fighter. i wouldn't put him in with a BJJ black belt though
