This past show was the best so far IMO. I was very disappointed by the fights up to this point but these were decent.

I think Kimbo made the right decision in getting healthy because he understands he has money to be made in the future in this sport.

I really wanted Big Baby to pull it off. I picked Roy to win this thing from the start...

Yea me too.. Big BAby was the guy I was pulling for.. After he landed that big Knee he needed to tackle him to the ground again.. He's supposed to fight Matt Mitrione on Saturday.. Big Babys ground game is really good but he gotta bad chin and terrible standup

i hate roy nelson.. what is exciting about him? a fat guy who rubs me the wrong way.. was getting lit up by mcsweeny..

mcsweeny is my fav of them all.. brandon is good too.. i hope he KO's roy. i think roy is gunna take it too the floor and get that fat stomach there and pound him..

and wasn't it James who wound up getting hurt by a Nelson punch, after he was taunting him?

McSweeney fought in K-1 once and barely lasted over a minute.

I didn't like on the show how he messed with Zac and even got him in a guillotine choke .... then talked smack about beating him up and "winning the contract"

though he conducted himself like a complete jackass, especially the above example and kind of glad he lost.

the finale was very entertaining..........

There have been a few shows where they're all bums except for one name, like when Joe Daddy and Mac Danzig won. It was an easy call.

Big Baby should work solely on standup for a while. His ground game is there. If he had just average stand up I'd pick him over **** Chestner....

Man, if there was ever a contrast in two men's striking. Matt "The Hamma" Hamma* is slow, plodding, and predictable, while Jones is quick, stays on his toes, gives angles, and makes stuff up as he goes along. Sure, Jones is still really raw, but I think he's going to bust Hammill up pretty bad on the feet.

I want Kimbo to lose purely because the UFC has hyped him so much in promos and TUF. They deserve to have the boatyard bumfighter crash and burn just like Elite did.

roy's gonna win it tonight, schaub will have only a quick chance to catch big country with a punch before he gets taken down and pounded in the crucifix position. marcus and titties were my favorite fighters on the show, it really really sucked to see marcus get knocked out like that. his nickname should be " the black mummy " like rampage said....damn, i still can't believe how he knocked titties out cold. i hate mitrione, i hope big baby f.ucks the ***** up

McSwiney is ****, you're right. He thinks he's a striker but he's just a guy who trains in "striking", like those meatheads who think coz they train MMA. His guillotine is the best thing he has done in the whole show. Dude got hurt by a tired football player with no cardio whatsoever. That's how good he is.
I saw your vids and i think you'd beat his ass.

I want Schaub and Marcus to win, Roy nelson is good but full of himself. He doesn't take that thing seriously enough IMO.
Schaub had the best striking i've seen so far in TUF. Good footwork, combos, straight punches. I wouldn't be surprised to see him doing very well in the UFC.
Marcus Davis has sick power and a great ground game but hasn't been punched enough in his life. His chin is too weak for the Heavyweight division. He needs to hire a good boxing trainer and work on his boxing (to sparr a lot with real boxers too).

dam kimbo doing real good

Overall, the show was pretty bad. I don't know if it was Spykes fault, or the UFC. First of all, the flow of the show was poor at best. The fights were not shown in the order that they took place in. This seemingly last minute editing
had 3 problems.

1. When the Titties fight started, all I could see was a poster of the 2 fighters for almost half of the 1st round.

2. Mike Goldberg said twice that the Kimbo fight was up next, only to show a lightweight contest.

3. I could hear the camera guys talking to each other, while they were talking to Sanchez and Penn. UFC"peeleft:
By far the worst show I have ever seen.
The fights themselves were ok.

His elbow strikes from the bottom were legal, I think. You may be right though. I remember Anderson Silva doing the same thing. But it is very different from the bottom, can't get the same leverage as from the top.

UFN 10 was an embarrassment to the sport of MMA on all levels. With the exception of Nelson who is at best a B, B+ fighter, everyone else on that show does not represent high level MMA. Kimbo vs Houston was abyssmal. Bones is an interesting prospect that shows promise despite the brain fart. Basically everything about the show including the production, the commentating and the presentation reeked of absolute garbage. Yes it was free but that doesn't excuse it from being absolute ****.

I don't think Houston has ever really been a serious fighter, more of over-achiever who managed to pull off a couple of big wins on account of explosive striking. The dude was (and still is I believe) a DJ in Omaha before getting a late start in MMA.

Agreed. Houston is about as good as Kimbo skill wise and when you factor in that Houston is actually a very low-tier LHW that fight's exactly the same way as Kimbo, it's not a big win by any stretch. Most 205'ers would murder Kimbo, at HW he may as well just pray that they can give him old farts like Tank Abbott or never-was fighters like James Thompson on a regular basis because he doesn't even factor into the mix.
