Guys, who do you think deserved the decision in this close fight? I might say that Shamrock by a very slight margin but it was very close. Frye owned him standing up but I think that Shamrock owned him on the ground with his submision attempts and reversals. Also another thing. Who do you think would take the W right now if there is a rematch?

It was close but there was no question in my mind that Frye won. He got the better of the exchanges standing up. Shamrocks anklelock may have been in a little more tight then Fryes but there was no sub so in the end, I think it was the right dec.

You really like shamrock don't you?

I think the general consenus is that they are both done, and if I'm not mistaken Frye is retired. Hopefully Shamrock follows in his footsteps.

Shamrock has been my favorite MMA fighter for the last ten years. He was also the reason why I started to check MMA back in 1995. He is truly one of my fighting heroes and role models.

You know, I'm not the biggest Ken fan but I gained ALOT of respect after his first loss to Royce, Remember? Royce choked him and the ref didn't see(or didn't know what he saw) and ken admitted his loss. After the fight he said something like, " I tapped, I'm not gonna lie". He;s a good man. Who was that Japanese dude that fought Chris Brennan at bushido? Brennan but him in a kimura and he screamed so Brennan let go. The ref asked him and he denied it. Was it Takase? no......

Which Bushido? I don't remember that or maybe I missed that match.

Ken destroyed both of Frye's ankles in that fight. He doesn't walk the same to this day. But that being said I thought Frye deserved the decision.

A rematch.......well neither of them have shown they have anything for years so I would predict them both to die from old age.

Did he really suffer those injuries after the fight? I did not know that.

It was at a Bushido in October 5th 2003. Eiji Mitsuoka was the cheap bastards name. Strange the Pridefc official website doesn't include that Bushido in it's arcive for some reason.

It was kind of funny because Brennan finished him with the same kimura on tyhe same arm later in the fight.
