This thread was about the Commentary for Wednesday nights fight.

The way the commentators go on and how they gave Danny an hour long interview after the fight you would think he had just cured aids... I know he was excited as you would be.. but leaving Jones standing in the ring like a dickhead then finally interviewing him for 1 minute.. very disrespectful.

Roy was the star and "was" known around the world as the best p4p fighter out there.. yet was treated like another one of Dannys bums..

The Atmosphere in the place would of been crazy tho.. Iv been to a lot of Greens fights in the past and the he's lucky to have the fans that he does.. it's like an Australia day celebration every time you get to see him fight in perth.

I can't stand the Australian Commentators they are always bias towards the Aussie and it shows.. If you have seen Kessler vs Mundine... Its like they try there hardest to score the round for the Aussie... Kessler will beat him up with Mundine running away the whole time.. and then he will land 1 good shot at the end of the round then it's like "OOOOOOOOOh, gotta give it to Mundine"

Mundines going have to do more then that to get respect around here mate.. winning a couple of vacated paper belts against other contenders rather then beating the champion for them and claiming to be this great champion? but I always thought to become the champion you had to beat the champion? Mundine never actually beat the champion for a belt so it really means nothing to me..

it was 12.30am Thursday night when the fight ended, me and my cousin stood there holding our piss waiting for them to interview RJJ... and it was like they ran out of time when they got to him. ****!! lol

Lol yeah he does kind of go on for a bit after fights.. this time was real bad though! I like how he says "I don't want to say much" and then goes on talking for like 30 minutes haha.. I think if they were interviewing him in America after the fight they would of just told him to shut the **** up.. I just wanted to hear what Roy had to say for a little longer he's one of the greatest and it's not like we get a fighter like that to come all the way down under so often and the aussie media really didn't pay him much attention at all.
