Probably some of the same artists I still listen to now. I think about the list in my head and I used to listen to them 5 years ago.

I'll always bump "Illmatic" and the classics.

But for new **** and up and comers.

Blu & Exile.
J. Cole looks promising.

I'll probably listen to Lupe still.

And a lot of the **** I currently listen to.

Lupe Fiasco.

Always relevant and has a lyricism, flow and delivery not many can match

I'm done with being over analytic with music. If it sounds good to me I'll listen to it.

it should be an interesting period in hip hop music like 5-10 years from now because we really have never had a group of rappers truly retire and move on yet unlike every other genre of music. I wana see where it goes after legends really stop making music.

If Royce keeps coming the way he has in the past 12 months then i'll definately be listening to him regularly

I'm still listening to 90's music and I don't really see myself straying too far from that.

we all have our fall-back artists/groups...you know, the **** that doesn't get old no matter how much you listen to it.

for me some of those rappers/groups include

Outkast (always my number one)
Little Brother
De La Soul
Nas (especially Illmatic)
Wu-Tang
The Notorious BIG
A Tribe Called Quest
J Dilla Productions

to name a few

its weird. i go through times where i feel like my rap tastes are changing. but then i revert back to my old form. i could see a day soon where i dont listen to rap unless its delivering a positive message. obviously i'm not there yet, otherwise i wouldnt have cam smashing bottle over someones head in my sig. lol
