emule is good but ya it does cane your bandwidth cause ya have to
let peeps upload too. kazaa lite++ is super fast but full of viruses and stuff.
not for the faint hearted id advise having upto date anti virus program for all of em, shareaza is good also but were not using it.

you can download a crappy trial demo, then use that demo to
get the full program if it aint free already

The only one that seems to work for me is Kazalite, version 2.43, but it's become obsolete and everything is running thin on it.
Emule and shareaza won't work for. They don't seem to connect. Maybe 'cause I'm using XP SP2. Anybody know how to fix that, or what programs would work alright with SP2?

Bittorrent used to work great (kinda slow). But they've been cracking down on it, and alot of the sites have been shut down. (bastards )
I don't trust any other programs that have adware/spyware, etc...
So any help would be greatly appreciated

I use Shareaza....
It's pretty good, but I don't download very often.

I have had Kazaa, Kazaa Lite, and Limewire. I have Limewire right now, and so far I'd say the best is Kazaa Lite. It's free, it has no spyware or addware, and no ads. Limewire is faster, but for virus worth, I'd go with K-Lite.
