I train hard, I aint got a problem with my weight but my diet isnt what it should be
I don't eat much burgers n chips but mostly curry 5 days a week lol
I have a healthy breakfast but lunch and dinner is a problem for me
Ive been told that I need to clean my diet up but not sure what to eat, what is good to eat while training for a fight
anybody help me out with a good list of what to eat and what not to eat please
thank you
RightCross94 11-30-2009, 04:51 PM It's quite simple really, no fried foods, no takeaways, no sugary fizzy drinks, chips, lollies etc
Go for fresh foods, wholemeal breads, veggies, fruits, lean emats, low fat dairy
there. easy
Cuauhtémoc1520 11-30-2009, 05:03 PM Eat more healthy meals more often. Instead of eating 3 times a day like most people, eat 6-7 times a day, smaller, healthier meals. It will speed up your metabolism, give you more energy to work out.
Also drink water all the time, it's good for the kidneys and liver and cleans you of all toxins.

SOPH~ REP. 11-30-2009, 05:49 PM Simple the gym builds strength and the kitchen builds muscle .cut out the word diet an change your life style .
alza1988 11-30-2009, 06:04 PM Eat as clean as possible .Water intakes supposed to be just as or if not more important .Drink little and often is what i read in a fitness mag but for boxers some drink up to 8 litre a day.Fruit Veg , wholemeal brown rice ,brown pasta , tuna salmon chicken .Try sticking to white meat .Porridge low sugar cereals and stuff , protein bars , low fat and low sugar yogurts. This is a good page .Avoid sugar inless it's for a pre workout it's harder to burn than fat .

There are lots of great theories about health and diets, many of which you will see in this forum. The simpliest, easiest and cheapest way of doing things is to eat natural, unprocessed foods, put yourself on a schedule. then stick to it. The latest fad and fashion in pills and supplements is a poor substitute for a disciplined lifestyle.
