Because they not only censor our site from being mentioned within their forums, they have banned members for even speaking about our website. Their envy is going to be their downfall.

Its a boxing site thing. The sites dont like eachother. You cant go over to ********** and type "*********" either.

But ********boxing is not even in the same league as B/Sc, so why bother responding to their infantile tricks?

I used to post there before getting banned for mentioning another boxing website to their forum members! What jerks they were, and it's a shame too, because a few years ago they had some great posters, but then all of the sudden longtime members were being banned - and all for talking about a new site that was being run by one of their forum members! To think I was planning an "******** in the U.S." meeting in New Orleans and was going to put all attending Front Row Ringside for one of the fight cards I was working for Les Bonano it was going to be an ESPN show and I could have given Eastide big props on T.V. but oh well. :rolleyes:

I later got a pathetic email from the site owner or one of the Mods for the site, I don't remember which, anyway it went on to say we're sorry, and would you be interested in writing for our site?! WHAT TOTAL B.S.!! They were going to "be willing" to let me post again, and I said to myself, "I am not going to do your site the honor of even clicking on it ever again".

And I haven't since - SCREW EM'....

This just goes to show why boxingscene is the best site on the net!

I don't have that much time on my hands, although unlike the PHPBB script that they use, this script does not allow that sort of privacy breach.

I'm glad to here that. I never suspected such a thing and would be surprised if that was the case. This site rules. That other place is old news.

Hm. I remember that. Anybody who mentioned the other site in PM was autobanned. And then all the apologies started rolling in two weeks later. *shakes head* tsk tsk

heard many rumours bout esb and have never been there on point of principal.

However I do think we should encourage more interaction / affiliation between sites though, its in the best interests of the game.

I fully support that cross pollination if you like, doesnt mean you post on every site, but i have numerous i use for news and others i prefer for resulkts others i prefer articles, cant see anything wrong with that at all.

in fact the insular nature of ESB by all accounts is driving people away in droves, it has such a bad rep now that being an ESB poster as it were, is so derided its almost viewed as shameful.
