He probably won't do much in the fading division, but I read he got knocked down (again) in the first round but got back up to win by TKO in like the 8th (?) round...

this is Michael Grant btw

I only saw highlights of it, he was hit with a right hand almost just like the one Rahman hit Lennox with, landed flush on the jaw, huge shot from a guy that was like 6'8. He went down like he was shot, and then as soon as he hit the deck, he jumped back up again like he wasn't even hurt! lol Then Grant boxed his way back into the fight, and by the seventh and eighth rounds, he was really pounding this guy, had him bent over up against the ropes and everything lol

Grant did the exact same thing in the first round against Golota. Golota really tagged him hard he was hurt but he got up and regained composure fast and finished the round in half way decent fashion and was fine the rest of the fight, like he forgot about the knockdown. Golota actually knocked him down twice but he did regain composure fast and was totally fine by round 2. Golota was the first one who ever knocked him down. But he knocked down alot after that.

By 6-10 I mean win-loss record, not height...

Wow, this guy got KO'd by a 217lb. fighter, not TKO'd, KO'd!
This is not as big a win as I first thought, nice to see Grant back though, he has alot of potential.

even in the bad state the HW divison is in now i can't see grant making a big impact, he's been exposed too many times now, unless he can get a fight with byrd, he's no chance of doing anything

As a world beater, an undisputed champ? I would agree that he's probably done, as he has yet to find a way to keep his hands up, he could still win some fights though, that's all I meant.

He looks like a muscular version of Chris Rock, to me anyway. :)

on friday night fights didnt they bring grant down to talk to atlas, he look very uncomfortable next to teddy, and teddy described the knockdown and how grant liek dropped his left, i got a feeling that teddy enjoyed doing that since we has grants trainer right?

so people say grant was rushed too hard and too fast, but i think he just chose the wrong sport, the guy just dosn't seem to have the right mentality for the sport, he won't come back from those devastating loses

Yeah, Grant sometimes comes across like a young child, he seems very easily intimidated, and I picked up on how he looked, too.
Yeah, I think he should have stayed with Atlas.

i think it was realy revealed in his fight with golota when he was losing... the hbo guys mentioned that in interviewing grant, he didnt really seem to want to be champion, he didnt have that hunger(or love) for it....

i think wlad would kill him BTW....
