Hey guys - never saw this fight so I'd value the opinions of the people on this board who watched it.
From what I've read, Vargas was lucky to get the decision.

Never seen it, i have a feeling from what i hear that trinidad is gonna get a big boxing lesson

The fight was close in my eyes until the championship rounds where Vargas stepped it up and Wright didn't,I remember Wright actually taking a few of the last rounds off.I think Vargas won this fight by atleast 2pts.Wright was the challenger,and if he expected to take the title from Vargas,then he should have fought harder in the Championship rounds.

I thought it was close either way and Winky was clearly winning early, but he kind of went cruise control mode down the stretch and Vargas stole those rounds.

wright won....if a fight in close the more popular guy usual gets the win..it was boring also

I had it a draw wright won alot of the early round but vargas took most of the late rounds.

I had Vargas up by the end of the fight. Vargas was fighting more aggressive than Winky in the later rounds. I agree with what someone just said. He should've fought harder if he wanted the win. I think he was just being cautious of getting caught with a good one.

it was close,but what I dont understand is how vargas was able to go the whole fight vs Campas without getting KD, when we all know campas hit hard
