Floyd won the gold as a middleweight, started his career a 165 lb fighter fighting at light heavyweight and averaged about 185 as a heavy!

I think that this would be a great fight and can see an excuse to give each of them the nod, but my gut feeling is Patterson probably by Dec. or very late stoppage!

I like Floyd but his chin always seemed to let him down. I am going to go with the taller Michael Spinks dropping Patterson a few times on his way to a decision. It would not be easy however, with Patterson's speed and powerful left hook.

I see Spinks winning this one by UD, after a hardfought battle.

Floyd Patterson would destroy Michael Spinks. Patterson was a Cus D'amato fighter, look what happened when Spinks faced a Cus trained fighter, Tyson. Of course Patterson isn't nearly as big and powerful as Mike, or have a great chin, but i still think he'd pull it off.

Spinks takes patterson out early, at least by the 5th round. against any other great, or even not so great but big puncher the question is only how long does it take to get to Floyd's chin

Depends on what weight they were fighting at. At 175, I'm taking Spinks, but at heavy, Patterson.Each fight would be a decision win.
