I thought that was just a 1 fight deal he signed, and then the would renegotiate?

This fight is all about the takedown. I do believe Fedor can hang with CC standing but not for long, CC will be the only one to walk away in the event of a stand-up war. On the ground, regardless of CC's recent training with Werdum, Fedor hands down. I think this fight will be awsome because I think Fedor will engage CC standing and look for the takedown from there, meaning both these guys will throw some serious leather.

I'm hoping that Fedor will deliver a serious beatdown. CroCop has never really had a serious ass kicking by anybody in his MMA career. Sure Randleman KOed him, but that was more like a flash knockdown. I'm talking about 10-20 minutes of him getting the beating of his life. That would be awesome.

WILL Cro Cop beat Fedor? I really doubt it. Fedor is better on the feet than Cro Cop is on the ground. Thats the difference in this fight.

Actually, Arlovski might be able to beat Fedor at some point I guess. He is more well rounded than Mirko and actually might be able to survive and get back to his fight. Nogueira will never beat Fedor because once Fedor his in his guard, he tries to fight using the guard. Thats why he will never win.

agreed, I heard rumor of him signing with Pride as of late do you know if that's true? It pissed me off that the UFC didn't air his match with Ricco but from what I've heard there was a good reason for not airing it.

Ricco looked so horrible in the Rizzo fight. He didn't even try a single decent takedown. He would shoot, Rizzo would start to sprawl, Ricco would give up and fall on his back. You gotta keep those legs driving forward.

definately, Double legs are hard for me and once I started driving forward, like all the way through, I had some success.

I think that a well contitioned Rizzo like the one who was a destroyer in the UFC is almost untouchable. Very strong, fast and accurate punches, tremendous low kicks, and a great mentor in the legendary Marco Ruas.

Rizzo is too passive to beat Fedor. Rizzo would sit back looking to counter and Fedor would have him on his back before he got to throw one punch.
