Witch kind of jump rope is the least taxing for the arms?
Im asking this because I had a injury couple years ago on my right upperarm to the side and now if i jump rope for more then 5 minutes i can feel it start to ache and burn alot.
Currently im using a woven rope would a steel or leather make any difference?

Pvc plastic speed ropes are probably the lightest and go round fastest aswell, steel and leather would make the rope heavier and would require more strength getting it round.

yeah, plastic speed ropes with the light plasic handle thats hollow are prob the lightest, also cloth ones arent too heavy either.

something like this http://www.buyjumpropes.net/Short_Handle_Licorice_Jump_Rope_p/017%20short%20handle%20licorice%20jump.htm

theyre pretty cheap too

huh? no. you need a rope that fits you correctly. fold the rope in half and you want it to go up from the ground to your armpit. If your rope is too short or too long its going to **** you up.

This, good thing about the plastic ropes aswell is that you can adjust the length by just pulling the rope from out of the bottom of the handle and tying a knot in it.
