a lot of boxers have skinny legs. do they lose power in their punches by having smaller legs? how important are the legs in punching power?

it' is one of tha most important parts of ur body to punch hard

but remember it doesnt matter how BIG it is
it matters how strong it is

look at pacquiao, barrera, morales, dlh noone of these ppl are big but their strong n explosive

I guess you're right, it's the strength in the legs that mostly matters. any idea if boxers have a target when training in terms of leg size to upper body size? is there a standard proportion that they aim to achieve?

Yeah, It definitely is one of the most important parts of your body in Boxing. If you don't have leg power, you don't have any speed and strength behind your punch.

thats one of the many things that made ali so good is the fact that
he dident have skinny legs
