YAAAAAAAA
THIS FIGHT WILL KILL LAST NIGHT FIGHT
Rockin' 04-10-2005, 08:05 PM Here they come now, the curtain at the end of the hall just opened and one of the fighters is making his way to the ring as we speak. It’s the Rock, Rocky Marciano with his manager Al Weil beside him. Marciano certainly looks focused as he makes his way into the ring. And from the other side of the hall, the crowd has erupted in cheers as well as boos as it seems that Mike Tyson is also making his way to the ring. Yes, it is Tyson. And Beside him walks our favorite commentator Larry Merchant. It seemed that Tyson could find nobody willing to work his corner so Rumblin’ Rockin’ Promotions was happy to get Larry Marchant out of his commentators chair and directly into the action as we offered him up to work Tysons corner.
Marciano has entered the ring and bounces high upon his toes as Mike Tyson aswell enters the ring. Merchant follows behind Tyson with the ice bucket and… hey wait… in the ice bucket, seems to be a bottle covered in white tape. Is that Tysons water bottle, I don’t believe so as the water bottle is held in Merchants hand. The white taped bottle sits in the ice bucket and highly resembles a 40oz bottle, hmmm.
The ring announcer is ready and here is his call……. “Welcome, to the Legendary Blue Horizon in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Tonights bouts are brought to you by Rumblin’ Rockin’ Promotions, the leader in dream bouts and legendary throw downs. Ladys and gentlemen I present for your pugilistic pleasure tonights card, “The Method of Mayhem!!!!!”
Introducing first, in the red corner….weighing 189 pounds…from Brockton Massachusetts…. He is The Brockton Bomber, ROCKY MARIANO!!!! The crowd erupts in cheers as Marciano steps to ring center raising his right glove in the air in appreciation of the applause.
And his opponent, boxing out of the Blue corner…..weighing in at a fit 215 pounds…..from the Catskills in Newyork….. He is the Iron one..Iron Mike Tyson…. The crowd again erupts with boos and cheers as some paper cups are tossed into the ring. Tyson steps forward to ring center to meet Marciano face to face as they are given their instructions by Richard Steele.
Tha Greatest 04-10-2005, 08:07 PM Come on Marciano!!!!!
Rockin' 04-10-2005, 08:07 PM This should be a fantastic slugfest, both fighters have been given their final instructions from the referee and have been instructed to wait in their corners until the bell sounds. We take our cameras into the Tyson corner to listen to Merchants final instructions.
Merchant, stands in front of Tyson trying to navigate the mouth piece into position. “Mike, boxing is much like golf. Except there are no greens and no funny hats.” Merchant prys the mouth piece into Tysons chin and continues with the pep talk. “When you find yourself in a hazard, reach over with your foot and kick it into a good position…..” Tyson looks at Merchant with a peculiar grin on his face. “Larry, how da **** is golf anything like boxing?” Larry raises one finger as well as the white taped bottle to his mouth and continues, “Because Mike, in both games you gotta bring your
balls or you just aint gonna make it!!!!” Tyson smiles and grabs the mothpiece from Merchant and shoves it in his mouth. Merchant exits the ring and both warriors are left standing acrossed from each other awaiting the bell.
Rockin' 04-10-2005, 08:10 PM Round 1
The bell sounds as Marciano charge acrossed the ring. Tyson bobs low as Marciano unloads a viscious uppercut that lands to the top of Tysons head. Marciano cringes in pain as he backs out of the exchange shaking his left hand. Tyson leeps forward with an uppercut of his own that lands flush and leaves Rocky stumbling backwards into the ropes, he is hurt!!! Tyson loads up with an uppercut that lands on Marciano as the follow up hook comes up short. A straight right from Tyson lands as he turns it into an uppercut that leaves Rockys head bobing. Marciano throws a right hand that Tyson gets beneath and comes up hooking hard and follows with a right hand that lands hard to the side of Marcianos head. Tyson rips of a 3 punch combonation that leaves Rocky sliding along the the ropes. Tyson, in pursuit jabs and lands as Marciano swings and misses and Tyson is there to take advantage with a sharp right cross. Marciano is still on the ropes, covered up and trying to evade Tysons bombs. Tyson lays his head to Marcianos chest as he begins working the body and then turning a hard hook upstairs to Marcianos eye. Marciano is cut, a very bad gash over the right eye, the blood is flowing freely although it is not directly into Marcianos eye.. Marciano slides off of the ropes and manages to get ring center. Marciano throws a long right hand that Tyson slips and Tyson counters with a right of his own that Marciano slips as well. Marciano slips forward landing a straight right hand and doubles up on thr right and lands again. Tyson returns fire as he leaps forward with a hook and doubles up on it aswell, both landing. Rocky again fires his right hand that Tyson gets under and comes up hard with an uppercut that lands solid. Marciano grabs Tyson and holds him tightly as Steele comes in to break them apart. Box!!!! From the outside Marciano again fires the right hand as Tyson again slips and comes in firing hard. Three straight rights land flush as marciano again has his back to the ropes, covering up. Tyson charges in with a solid hook as the bell sounds to end the round.
Tha Greatest 04-10-2005, 08:10 PM Ahhh The Adrenaline!!!!!!
TYSON WILL SEE THAT THE ROCK WILL TAKE HIS BEST SHOTS AND TYSON WILL GIVE UP!!!!!TYSON IS ALWAYS LIKE THIS IN THE BEGINNING OF HIS FIGHTS!!!!!!!
Rockin' 04-10-2005, 08:13 PM Tyson returns to his corner and rests on the stool. Merchant kneels infront of Tyson and takes his mouthpiece and offers him a drink from the white bottle. Upset with the contents, Tyson smacks the bottle to the side as Merchant retrieves the waterbottle and gives Tyson a rinse. “Mike, fighting is much like a cucumber growing in the garden.” Tyson looks at Merchant as if he is crazy.
Rockin' 04-10-2005, 08:15 PM Acrossed the ring the doctor is looking closely at Marciano. The doctor is fine with the cut as it is a bad one but not enough to stop the bout. However, he is handling Rockys left glove and applying pressure to the top of the glove. Rocky cringes and pulls the glove from the doctors hand. The doctor turns and leaves the Marciano corner and confers with Richard Steele. Steele has waived it off, the fight is over!!!!!! It looks as if Marciano was forced to retire from the fight, we will have to get a word with him after the official announcements.
“Ladies and gentlemen, referee Richard Steele, on the advice of the ring doctor, stops this bout at the beginning of the second….. Your winner, by T.K.O, Iron Mike Tyson!!!!!
We are ring center awaiting Rocky Marciano for a few words, here he comes now. Rocky, what happened in there. We noticed that you were not throwing your left after the initial shot landed to open the fight…. “Yeah, I broke it with the first uppercut that I threw at him, it landed on top of his head. I did not want to quit but I just couldn’t keep him off of me with only one good hand.” You said that you did not want to quit, did you quit in your corner? “No, absolutely not, the doctor did not want me to continue with the bad cut and the broken left hand. I wanted to continue to see what I could do if anything but he was not agreeable.” That’s tough luck Rocky, maybe we will get a rematch… “I will be calling them for another fight with Mike real soon, mark my words!!!”
Marciano leaves the ring as the loser for the first time in his career as the winner of the bout, Mike Tyson, joins us for a word. “I am the baddest man on da planet, I am indestructible….I am….” Mike, it looked as though you had him in some trouble in that round, what did you see. “I saw my self battering him about the ring. Once he was cut and I smelled the blood, the cannabolistic side of me just came out and I tore into him.” Mike, did you know that his left hand was broken? “How could I have known that?”
Mike Tyson turns from the camera and flexes for the crowd as there are mixed boos and cheers for the heavyweight warrior. I think that there could be a rematch in the future assuming that Rocky’s left hand is able to heal properly, time will tell.
Well, the first bout ended in an anticlimactic fashion but we can expect some heated action as our next bout will enter the ring momentarily.
Tha Greatest 04-10-2005, 08:19 PM    :hijacked:
Rockin' 04-10-2005, 08:19 PM It was a rough night for the rock as he breaks his hand in the opening moments of the bout and is unable to keep Tyson from standing on top of him
Rockin' 04-10-2005, 08:21 PM The crowd has calmed down some since the first battle in which Tyson walked away victorious over a wounded Marciano. The atmosphere is thick with vile anticipation of the up coming bout. Graziano, the tough guy from the streets of Newyork is far behind in at the betting windows but is sure to come to fight as he always does. In the lockerroom of Hagler it appeared that he had not even broken a sweat, as informed by our on site reporters. He will need to be ready as Graziano is one to fire from opening bell until the final bell and Hagler has been known to take a few rounds to get warm.
I hear commotion coming from the far end of the hall, yes the bright light is shining on one of the fighters as he is making his way through the standing room only crowd. We are unsure as to which fighter it is but the crowd is going crazy as they are parting way for the fighter to reach the ring. It is Graziano, pumping his arms out as he sternly looks forward and pumps his arms out in front of him. The people in the crowd are all reaching over to touch Rocky as he reaches the steps and climbs between the ropes into the ring.
Mick Hucknall 04-10-2005, 08:24 PM now how did you work that one out rockin'
Rockin' 04-10-2005, 08:26 PM He certainly looks focused as he takes of his robe and hands it to his corner man Jack Hurley. The crowd has again erupted as we can only assume that Marvelous Marvin Hagler is making his way to the ring. We can see the crowd parting but are unable to see haggler at this point. Boy, this place is packed to the roof and the heat inside this hall is extremely stiff. Yes, its Hagler….. his arms churning infront of him. His hood of his robe concealing his face as he climbs the stairs and slides between the ropes into the ring. Acrossed the ring Graziano has a menacing stare that he will not take off of Hagler. Hagler begins bouncing on his toes as he circles the ring. Appraoching Graziano, Hagler throws off the hood to reveal his face and stops directly infront of Graziano as the two come nose to nose. The crowd is absolutely insane as the decibels are raised 2 fold. Richard Steele, separates the two and orders Hagler back to his corner.
Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your main event of the evening…. Rumblin’ Rockin’ Promotions is pleased to give you for your pugilistic pleasure this 10 round mainevent in the Middleweight division. Introducing first, in the red corner, weighing in at 161 pounds, from NewYork, NewYork….. He knows that somebody up there likes him and so do we…. I give you, Rocky Graziano!!!!!!!!! The crowd erupts in applause and cheers as Graziano meets Steele at ring center.
And ladies and gentlemen, fighting out of the blue corner…..weighing in at a trim 160 pounds….. he needs no introduction the world over…..fighting out of Brocton Massachusetts, he is The Marvelous one…. Marvelous Marvin Hagler!!!!!! Again the crowd erupts in cheers and vile crys of destruction as Hagler walks to the center of the ring to meet Graziano and Steele for the final instructions.
Rockin' 04-10-2005, 08:29 PM This is certainly going to be a war. Hagler and Graziano are again nose to nose as Steele finishes his instructions and the two fighters touch gloves and make their ways back to their corners to await the bell.
Round 1
Goody Petronelli gives Hagler a fist to the arm as he steps between the ropes and out of the ring. DDDIIINNNGGG!!!!! And its on. Graziano comes straight acroosed the ring to meet Hagler along the near ropes. Graziano, in a covered position, presses Hagler as Marvin delivers a quick hook that Graziano catches on his gloves and quickly counters with a solid right of his own. Inclose, Hagler again hooks as Graziano ducks low and comes up with another right hand that sails past Haglers ear. Hagler, digs a hook to Grazianos body and quickly fires off three shots to Rockys face that all land flush, leaving his head bobbing up and down. Graziano presses his head to hagglers chest as Hagler yet again misses with a hook. Graziano would return the hook with one of his own but would come up short. Hagler steps back and sticks a nice jab into Grazianos face, graziano quickly returns his jab to hagglers face. Again they fall into close quarters as they both begin digging in the trenches. Both men are landing good shots to the body but the hooks to the head are being dodges by both fighters. Graziano slips another Hagler straight left and falls in close, initiating a clinch. Both men wrestle around for position as Steele orders them to break. BOX!!!! Hagler takes a quick step to his side and delivers a solid cross to Grazianos head. Again he steps to the side and drops a quick one-two into Grazianos face. Hagler dances away as Graziano trys to push Hagler to the ropes. Rocky leeps forward and lands a solid hook to Haglers head and NAILS Hagler with a punishing cross. Hagler wobbles and falls into the ropes where Graziano pounces upon him. Graziano leads with a good right hand as Hagler cover up, trying to get off of the ropes. Graziano again leads with a good right hand and then doubles up on his hook as they all collide violently with Haglers skull, he is seriously in trouble now. Graziano digs a hook to the body and again fires the right hand as both land…..DDDIIINNNGGG!!!!!!!
Rumble Box #’s..Punches landed……..Graziano 25……..Hagler 14
Rockin' 04-10-2005, 08:34 PM Hagler walks to his corner obviously in some distress from the barrage of punches that Graziano rained upon him. He sits on his stool as Petronelli pours the ice cold water over Haglers shaven skull. Haglers left eyes is showing slight signs of swelling as Petronelli applys the en-swell to the eye. Acrossed the ring Graziano is getting instructions from his cornerman, Jac
k Hurley, instructing Graziano to continue with the lead rights and telling him to follow with hooks to Haglers body to slow him down. As the 10 second warning sounds Graziano quickly lifts from his stool as Hagler remains seated. DDDDIINNGG!!!!!!!
Rockin' 04-10-2005, 08:36 PM Round 2
Graziano, looking very confident circles the ring as Hagler pivots in the center of the ring. Graziano closes the distance as Hagler catches him with a hook. Graziano is quick to fire his own hook back as the two again begin exchanging hard. Graziano swings and misses as Hagler fires a strong hook that sails over Rockys head and they fall into a clinch. Steele steps in to break them……BOX!!!!! Hagler lunges forward with a straight left as Graziano slides out of the way and begins circling the ring. Hagler closes the distance but is meet with a quick 3 punch combo from Graziano as he again slides away and continues circling the ring. Graziano, drops his gloves and teases Hagler and urges him to come and fight. Quickly, Hagler swings with a long uppercut as Graziano ducks low, catching Graziano solidly on the eye. Graziano quickly dances away but he is cut and IT’S A BAD CUT!!!! There is a thick gash directly above Grazianos right eye. Hagler sees this and rushes into attack only to be met by Grazianos right fist in his face. Hagler presses forward to the inside where he lands an uppercut. Graziano returns with a hook that misses and then their head collide. STOP!!!!!! Richard Steele takes a look at Hagler and sees no blood from the collision and quickly warns Graziano for butting and orders the two to again box. Hagler, possibly dazed from the collision takes his first steps back as he begins circling about the ring. Graziano quickly picks up pursuit, gets in range and unloads a solid hook that is followed by an uppercut as Hagler swings and misses. Graziano ducks low and falls into a clinch with Hagler. Stelle moves into…..DDIINNGGG!!!!
Rumble Box #’s…..Punches landed…. Graziano 24……Hagler 19
WTF?! Cmon Marvin! You better get started now. This is the ultimate stage! Don't let me down man! You know you deserve the win! Let 'em all frustrations out on that guy! War Marvin!! it's WAR Baby!!!
Rockin' 04-10-2005, 08:40 PM Hagler, seemingly cleared in the head returns to his corner as acrossed the ring Jack Hurley is very frantic as he begins work on Rockys right eye. Steele wanders to Grazianos corner where he demands to see the cut. “GIVE ME SOME DAMNED TIME TO WORK ON IT, WOULD YA!!!!!” Hurley continues to mend the wound as Steele insists on see the severity of the cut. Hurley finally agrees and Steele leans into have a closer look. Steele leaves Rockys corner and returns to the neutral corner to await the bell. Putting his final dose of adrenaline inside the cut, Hurley applys a thick coating of Vaseline as Graziano stands from the stool to await the bell. Acrossed the ring Hagler is on his feet as well in anticipation of the next bell…………..DDDIINNGGGG!!!!
joeboxer 04-10-2005, 08:40 PM I want a rematch of Tyson Vs Marciano.
Rockin' 04-10-2005, 08:42 PM Round 3
Graziano, understanding the severity of the cut rushes from his corner swinging hard. He catches Hagler with a solid right as Hagler ducks below the follow up hook. Hagler takes a step back as graziano falls forward. BAM-BAM-BAM!!!! Hagler rips a solid 3 puch combo but Graziano returns fire with a nice uppercut of his own. Hagler grabs graziano as graziano tries to free his arms but is unable to break the hold of Hagler….BREAK!!!!!!.........BOX!!!!!! Graziano again pushes forward landing a nice uppercut followed by a hook and another uppercut to Haglers face. Graziano tries yet another uppercut as Hagler rolls and counter with a smashing uppercut of his own. Graziano stumbles and falls to the canvas. Steele pushes Hagler to the neautral corner and picks up the count, 4…5…6…7…8 Graziano rises on unsteady legs as Steele grabs his gloves and wipes them on his shirt. Hagler pushes forward working grazianos back to the ropes as he digs a solid hook into Rockys ribs and drives an uppercut through Rockys chin. Rocky cover up as Hagler takes a step to the side and unloads three solis left hands that drop Graziano again to the canvas. Graziano, on his side rolls to his knees and tries to push himself up from the canvas. Steele counts down….4…..5….6….7Graziano gets to one knee…8…..9 and pushes himself up to his feet. Steele again wipes the gloves and orders the two to box. Haggler jumps on Graziano, hook, straight left, hook, uppercut. Graziano is in serious trouble. Hagler takes a side again and rips a murderous uppercut that snaps Grazianos head straight back. A heavy flow of blood flys into the ringside seats as Richard Steele jumps between them, waving his arms high in the air. The fight is over as Steele holds Graziano as he leans against the ropes.
Rockin' 04-10-2005, 08:44 PM Hagler, shows no emotion as he returns to Petronelli in his corner to receive a drink of water. Acrossed the ring Graziano is being helped to his stool where a doctor thoroughly looks him over. The crowd is chanting Marvelous as haggler raises his right glove to thank the fans for their appreciation.
Ladies and Gentlemen, referee Richard Steele stops this contest at 2 minutes and 32 seconds of the 3rd round. Your winner by technical knockout…. Marvelous Marvin Hagler!!!!!!!!
What a slugfest that we just witnessed. We are ring center in hopes of getting a word with both Hagler and Graziano. The ring is crowded with so many people we can not even see where the fighters are. There he is, pushing his way through the crowd, here is Marvin Hagler, the victor in this war. Marvin, he was a tough man…. It seemed that he had your number at the beginning of the fight, what changed the course of this fight for you? “Really Rockin’, it was the cut. I saw the blood pouring into his eye and knew that he could not see out of it. I pushed forward but he was still able to land so I waited until the next round to really go after him.” In that 3rd round Graziano was again getting off well on you until you landed the uppercut that sent him down… “Yeah, I knew that I had caught him good on that one, when he dropped I saw him getting up and knew that he wasn’t in good shape at all.” You would drop him again shortly after and the barrage of blows that you pounded into graziano was amazing… “I knew that he was done, I trained hard and knew that this was my time, MY TIME!!!!!!!” Hagler raises his gloves above his head and makes his way out of the ring. The doctors are still attending to Graziano so it looks as though we will not be able to get a word with him about the fight.
Rockin' 04-10-2005, 08:46 PM “The Method of Mayhem” proved to be just that as we had two quick endings to both of our bouts. In the first bout Marciano broke his left hand which left him as easy pickings for Mike Tyson as he stops Marciano at the beginning of the second round. And Marvin Hagler and Rocky Graziano put on a viscious display for the fans but it was Marvelous Marvin Hagler that left the ring on his feet as Richard Steele is forced to stop the contest in the 3rd round.
We hope that you enjoyed Rumblin’ Rockin’ Promotions presentation of “The Method of Mayhem”. We look forward to seeing you at our next production and wish you all the best in the pugilistic world. Ofcourse, for the best you know where to come…..Its Rumblin’ Rockin’ Promotions and we bring you the best damned fights that you can dream of!!!!!!!!!!! Good night from the Fantasy Forum…………….Rockin’ :boxing:
Tha Greatest 04-10-2005, 08:46 PM I want a rematch of Tyson Vs Marciano.

Rockin' 04-10-2005, 08:49 PM Any comments? I know they didnt last long but thats how they came out. Put punchers together like that and you cant expect long drawn out fights, youll get awsome abreviated wars........Rockin'
I knew it! I knew it all along! Both my men won today. I'm gonna start promoting them. Hell, I'm a rich ****er right now. Marvin desveres all the respect in the world right now. He has the heart of a champion and fists outa stone. The picture perfect fighter, picture perfect!
Tyson did well. He did what had to be done. Marciano's gonna prove himself again before we can even talk about a rematch. That sissy hurt his hand? My gosh, Hearns never cried about that. Tyson's on top of the world right now. No reason to fight a guy who's coming off a loss.
I'm rich baby, ****in rich.
joeboxer 04-10-2005, 08:54 PM Ya give Marciano another shot.
He doesn't have to prove himself before he gets a rematch. He just has to heal his hand.
Tha Greatest 04-10-2005, 08:56 PM Marciano lost cuz of the cut
Rockin1, we want Pryor-Chavez, Pryor-Leonard, Hearns-Trinidad
Any comments? I know they didnt last long but thats how they came out. Put punchers together like that and you cant expect long drawn out fights, youll get awsome abreviated wars........Rockin'
It was very entertaining. Thx for the great fun Rockin. You might want to take a lil more time and write Haglers name the way it's supposed to be written next time (not haggler) though. ;)
I was a lil bit surprised by the way the first bout ended. However that could be the setup of a great rematch. It's a bit sad that Marcianos first loss came against Tyson and in that fashion. But hey, there we go, it's a fantasy fight.
Rockin' 04-10-2005, 09:01 PM Rumblin' Rockin' Promotions hopes that you enjoyed tonights fisticuffs. There are plenty more to come as we have every fighter that has stepped into the ring in our stable and available to fight for your pugilistic enjoyment.

Rockin1, can I work Aaron Pryors corner?
Rockin' 04-10-2005, 09:06 PM All you have to do is say that you have signed AAron Pryor to a contract first and then nobody else can work him. I would suggest building a stable of fighters, one for each weight class, so that you can match up against somebody else. However, you may not sign a fighter yet. I must first make the announcement on the Fantasy fight forum. When the thread "Rumblin' Rockin' Promotions-The 2nd Generation" appears that is your shot to sign your fighters. Remember, one per weight division allowed only.............Rockin' :boxing:
Well, I'd love to work with Joe Louis or Sam Langford.
Edit: Just read your post Rockin'. That's a great idea. How far down will we go in weight?
Rockin' 04-10-2005, 09:14 PM I would say lets keep it featherweights and above. But dont choose fighters yet. Like I said, when you see the 2nd generation thread in the fantasy forum then you can sign your fighters..............Rockin' :boxing:
BrooklynBomber 04-10-2005, 09:15 PM Thats it i aint betting for next couple of fights
