That's Cool, as long as your comparing it to other rakim albums, or other classic albums, but these guys that like this cheesy crap that Jay Z has been putting out in the last few years and criticize this album are brainless .

I think some of them don't even really appreciate his classic stuff and just give it props because everyone else does and they know they have to.

yeah, definitely, compared to the rest of the catalog, it's 3.5. Better than "The Master", possibly.

i just want rakim to spit, none of these terrible hooks or poor beats. just heat. it didnt happen.

i thought rakim went in on a couple of the songs, his flow really impressed me...hes still got it, his presence, and his consistent personality. No other rapper has stayed true to who they are and they're style more then rakim, ever. He doesnt contradict himself like other rappers. He is the real God MC.
