So I finally bought myself a pair of Cleto Reyes 10oz gloves and now I finally know what all the fuss is about. Best gloves I've ever had hands down!! They weren't cheap but they were worth every penny!:boxing:

No doubt. They are hella expensive but definitely worth it.

they are great gloves just not ideal for training as they dont offer that much protection. Plus when sparring with them you can hurt your partner by useing them as they are thin gloves with hard leather.

they do the ones with velcro straps for bag work

I have some white 14 oz. Cleto Reyes gloves. Maybe good for hitting mitts, but definitely not good for sparring. I switched to 16 oz. Winnings and have never looked back.

they make training gloves that are padded with foam only. the fight gloves or the 8oz and 10oz are padded with foam and horse hair. I spar with 16oz cleto reyes gloves all the time with no problems with my hands.

They are yeah! I like that quote from Emmanuel Steward by the way, I remember him saying that. I don't care what people say about Cotto I still think he's an amazing boxer and I still like his style more than Manny's.
