Here's another good fight. Morales is gonna fight MAB this sat and he has said that after he wins(?) he is only interested in one more fight at 130(Pacman). He is already making plans to move up to 135. When he does, here's an opponent that will surely be considered. Morales has the skill and Freitas the power, who wins?
I don't expect people to answer right away, I think we need to see his performance on sat first.
Doesn't matter the outcome of saturday, you have to admit this sounds like a good fight.

I give the edge to Morales in this one. Too tough for Freitas.

id have to say morales also
both guys have boxing skills as frietas showed in last fight
but then again he seemed to fade extremely bad

he seems to get discouraged and not be able to deal with
based on his last fight

but i say morales has enough pop and boxing skills to discourage frietas and take an easy ud
maybe late ko
i mean it aint that tought to knockdown frietas
and as we saw if ya knock him down couple times
ya can make him quit

Morales is the better fighter with the better skills but he wont put the fear in Frietas like Chico did. I could see it happening like you said or I could see Freitas ripping threw Morales like paper. Frietas is the bigger stronger man. This will be something totaly different for Morales. He has never faced someone this powerful and who is also super quick. I wouldnt be surprised if he Knocked Morales out. On the other hand I would be surprised if Morales KO Frietas. Morales hasnt showed much power since moving up and he will be even less effective if he moves up again

true true
but then again
i didnt say hed ko freitas i said kd
plus dont forget
only frietas last 2 fights were at lightweight
so its not like hes some super force their
at 130 he was getting knocked down alot
and at 130 i think morales still has enough pop in his punches knock him down and as i said possible make him quit again

plus his next oppenent doesnt exactly show his courage and heart, seems to me he is very unsure of himself
Fernando David Saucedo won 16(0 ko's) lost 3 drawn 2
some one seems terrified of being kod again

which would make it easier for morales, a future legend, to make frietas feel all is lost if he gets dropped

I like Morales alot. He is one of my favorites and I would pick him to win, just as I would pick him over MAB, Pac, and Marquez but I could also see the Freitas fight going the other way. As far as the knock downs go. Freitas is just a littile wild. I dont think that he was ever really hurt before Chico. Most of them were just from being wild and off balance

Those are his weakness but his strength's are power and quickness and when he wants he can be very fercious espically when he has a smaller opponent and one that he dosent think can hurt him. He will come right at Morales swinging lasers and bombs and it will be something Morales has never seen or felt before and I imagine could be a shock to his system. Morales has also been hurt before and banged up several times. The power and speed that he will feel from Freitas will shock him. It wont be like getting hit by Barrera at 122. Think of how big of a difference that is. If MAB could shake him up at 122. Imangine what POPO could do to him at 135. and like I said at 122 Erik could hurt you bad. He cant do that at these bigger weights. A littile bull like Chaves gave him problems at 130. I think Freitas could be to much for him at 135 and rough him up alot

MORALES DESTROYS FREITAS.

Erik may not hit as hard as Corrales, but he boxes a lot better and would land a lot more than Diego did.

Freitas wouldn't even get off to a good start like he did against Diego. It would be Morales from the start until a mid to late rounds stoppage.

Yeah, you'd have to say that Morales would hand him a boxing lesson... Can't see him knocking Popo out, but it would be a lopsided points win.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves black...Just because Corrales made him quit doesn't mean that morales can beat freitas. Corrales would knockout morales and barrera in less than 5 rounds. I have seen morales get hit a lot in his last few fights. I think freitas will hurt morales in the middle rounds and will eventually get a stoppage.

Hmmm...good points, but I'm not impressed by Freitas boxing ability.

Corrales gets outboxed by nearly EVERYONE (before pulling out the power shot).

I still have a gut feeling that Morales would find him easy to hit and would wear him down. We now know that Freitas is a bottle job, too!

too small in what way?
corrales has only had one fight at lightwieght, the majority where at superfeather where morales is now.
morlaes isn't much smaller in height either only 3 inches,
but he has a 2 inch reach advantage.
morales is by far a better boxer than chico and he ain't never been stopped.
chico was dropped five times and stopped by mayweather and dropped three times in two fights with casamayor being stopped in one(cuts) and getting a close decision in the other.
imo there is no way he stops morales(maybe drop a decision on a bad night) and for people to think he would do it in the first half of the fight is just plain stupid!!!

I think Freitas-Morales would be a tremendous fight. Acelino boxed well against Corrales and was picking him away piece by piece until Corrales power got the better of him. I think it would be a 12 round war as both fighters are tough nuts. I give Morales the edge but i can't see Freitas getting a bad beating. Awesome fight in my opinion. :D

Morales and Corrales would be a great fight.

I would, however, prefer Morales to stay at super-feather and unify. There are some great fights to be had at super-feather, and Corrales has plenty of alternatives at lightweight anyway.

Actually, Frietas has had several fights at lightweight early in his career. This would be a good fight and I give Morales a very good shot at beating Frietas at 130 but Frietas would be too strong, too powerful and is quick. I think this is a fight in which Frietas could win boxing and moving early and slugging with Morales in the later rounds. Morales has very good power but I don't think he has enough to keep Frietas at a distance through the entire fight. I could also see Frietas stopping Morales late at 135.

And Morales's fight with pacman would be very interesting!

I hate to say it but Freitas has been exposed. In addition, his confidence level must be at an all time low.

I think, that Freitas should win in the beginning at Diego before to fight with Morales

... It only my opinion

Interestingly, and to what distance would aspire Morales, to distant, or to average...? (In fight with the Brazilian)
