All I can say is he was definitley better off with Rooney as his trainer.

indeed. i can understand why tyson got tired and finally got enough of rooney. he choose to have fun and not train. he pay the price for it,douglas humilaied him and ko him. i think tyson could take a loss better and comeback if he stay with rooney(even though i dont think douglas could win over tyson if he had rooney, but his skills went down a lot sence cus die but still got enough with rooney).

Tyson is a mental midget who would have gone south regardless of his trainer. Rooney was a good trainer for him, but the real question should be, " If Tyson wasn't such a jerk-off, would he have been a better fighter?"

Kevin Rooney won't train Tyson because Tysons not fighting to be a winner these days. Tyson is just fighting to get out of debt, his hunger is gone and Rooney is not going to waist his time. Plus, when they split it wasn't pretty, court hearing, law suits, i even heard Rooney got jabbed in the face by Tyson.
