OK, so it's getting to the point where my best pal and I are getting slightly bored of padwork - this being our usual pastime in a conventional fitness gym with no heavy bag or anything; we just fire up an empty hall, switch on a laptop with some fights, and make **** up as we go along. Personally, I think the guy would make a great fighter... but that's just a mate talking.

In short, we want to start smacking each other around for real now. We can't be arsed to get to a boxing gym, but we still want to keep doing the faux-boxing we've been doing for ages. It's just fun. So I'm thinking headgear, gumshields and 16oz gloves. I'm sure we'd be fine with those. Gives us enough protection to beat the **** out of each other for a laff, right?

Anyway, for those in the UK, what's a good place (online or offline) to buy this Ringside stuff I keep hearing such rave reviews about?

sugarrays.co.uk has some good stuff.

seconded, buy most of my stuff from them, only bad thing I can think of is that the customer service is pretty poor as they dont reply to your emails. There is a phone number that I assume makes up for it though.
