Sparred this big, tall guy. my jabb didnt work cause of the lenght difference, and by some reason the guy reffing complained on everone off my hooks being inside hits, so i stopped hooking.without the jab and the hooks i couldnt do much.

annoying cause last time we sparred i would hook his body and head bad and give him a good beating.

This is true! There are so many posters here who think they are the most knowledgable when it comes to boxing and doesn't respect other's opinions and views. And when you post something that doesn't go with their own thinking, they bash you with a barrage of f**ks and s**ts and all that garbage! Actually, posts per day and new members per day have never been higher. For every person that leaves another 50 join every single day. This forum is very tame compared to other forums, one of the main reasons most people come back after leaving. They see how harsh the other forums are and realize that maybe they didnt have it so bad here. There is an ignore feature and many refuse to use it for some reason yet complain about other members. I don't pity those that complain about others yet don't bother to ignore those members. In the case of Atwa, it's surprising he is gone since when he first arrived here there were many members that disliked him, said he harrassed people and wanted him banned. I let him slide with several things since I knew he was young and was just getting into the groove of things.

We are pretty loose here because we believe in freedom of speech to an extent. Other forums you get banned just for questioning a mod, airing your point of view or disagreeing with an article. I agree with something someone said earlier, if you cant take the heat in a boxing forum, how does one deal with the outside world? The entire "I'm leaving" threads got so boring to me over the years that I did people a favor who posted them and just banned them so they could get the exit they wanted.
