Damn that sucks.

Think you could beat him if you fought him again?

I wish I could tell you some tips to help with the mental stuff but alas I do not box and I have similar problems in the sport I play...

i could beat him anyday of the week fi i jsut fought more

if i fought him again he will come straight at me

tht could make it easier for me or harder
because him commign at me will leave him open
him comming at me could make me choke up

Hey man

What happened when u choked? did he just start to land a bunch of punches and steal the fight? or did u get robbed man?

It happens, my first time in the ring I was couldn't think. I got tunnel vision and started fighting like I was in a school yard scrap. It gets better, props for getting in there and doing it.

Hey boxer2k5,

My best advice would be to film your sparring and better still your fights. Then look over them to get a better understanding of yourself in the ring.

With my first fight, i couldn't remeber 1 second, it was all a blur, because the adrenalin took over. I hardly got touched, but it was all foggy.

Luckily it was filmed, and I had the chance to review and improve.

With better knowledge and experience, you will naturally feel more comfortable and improve.

Take care, keep the chin tucked in.

best,

drh
