You're smart in weighing what you're comfortable weighing and not trying to force yourself up to 200 lbs. Good luck to you in your fights.

Dont give up, It's not how you lose, it is how you respond to a defeat, train a little more then get a rematch and show him whats up.

Dude, you gotta let these things role off of your shoulder man. You lost, all of us who laced the gloves have lost a time or two. Remember when I spoke to you about over confidence, well this is an example. Walk quietly but carry a big stick.
What? Your going to quit because you lost a bout in the amatuers? Losing is all a part of winning later. Learn to let these expeiences fuel you for the future. The amatuers are all about learning, learning to box, learning to win and lose, but more than anything learning to be a man. Im not picking on you here, these are words that my trainer spoke to me after a fight that I should have walked through the guy. But I was overconfident, tried playing it pretty rather than just digging down and letting my hands rip. I been there, and I carried on to find much success later. Its all about learning man. You learned that you can be beaten. Now learn from that and get back in the gym and show this ****er whats up the next time.
If making weight at the lower division is not hard for you than drop to that division. Fighting men the same size as you will always be easier than fighting bigger men than yourself. Just dont give up on your dream because of some shit like this. I gave up my dream along time ago, for various reasons, and do not spend a single day without thinking about it at least once, what if. Dont look back thinking you could have done something when you are standing in the middle of your life, right now, with the potential to do something now. Get in the gym and get back at it!...........Rockin' :boxing:
Learn for ur loses, offer the guy that beat u a rematch ste up by ur coaches!
just for ur selfesteem
