When I switched to grant a couple months ago, I could feel enough protection and at the same time that nice extra pop to the glove on the bags and my sparring partners. Yet, they were 16oz. So i would recommend Grant's from my experience. TEXSTRO 11-10-2009, 10:58 AM I just bought some Triumph Japaneese Heatseekers from Title.com and they are nice..They are the Lace ups..Im talking bout great padding and protection. I would definitely recommend these. Not to mention the only cost me 46.00 bucks with shipping..they are on sale! mrboxer 11-10-2009, 03:48 PM Well from my experience, I had some Everlast pro training gloves and I just felt that they had too much padding and protection on them. While I haven't tried the Protex-3s or whatever their gimmick is (which is the only Everlast glove I haven't tried), they are pretty clearly a total waste of money. supRa 11-14-2009, 09:51 AM grants>>>>>>>>>> Sox8055 11-14-2009, 01:23 PM it seems though even though you were leaning towards everlast you were swayed to go with grant which if you are comfortable with is good but by using grant by way of being swayed or you felt you just leaned into them maybe the glove is just as good if not better than the rest of them:boxing: No, I dint swayed to them. I just felt the grants to be better than RS or EL gloves that I Bought in the past. GRANTS are just perfect, and I wasnt swayed in. I was comformed with them. I have the Protex 3s, got em in a giveaway. They're pretty nice though, compact and well padded. gorasikawannabe 11-16-2009, 06:54 AM anyone that says nEverlast is better than Grant needs to have their head examined.Well said Well from my experience, I had some Everlast pro training gloves and I just felt that they had too much padding and protection on them. When I switched to grant a couple months ago, I could feel enough protection and at the same time that nice extra pop to the glove on the bags and my sparring partners. Yet, they were 16oz. So i would recommend Grant's from my experience. Because they use cheap foam which is not dense and won't protect the hands. Looks like something from a sponge factory when the seems tear open. Everlast, Lonsdale and Title(same company as Lonsdale i think) are three of the ****test brands you can find! |
