Ehhh...it was a nice shot. Angulo's demolition was more entertaining to me. Rodgers is pretty sloppy, tried to leap in with a left hook.

Nice feint jab, straight right by Fedor though.

Ive never even heard of any of these guys, but Fedor.. heard of rogers on SportsNation a few days back..

Fedor is the only guy I like in all of mma.. he is the only guy I will watch.. For 3 reasons.

He's a bad ass Russian, who is former special forces.
He won't sign with UFC.
He is the definition of a warrior.

boxing would have that easily.probelm with boxing is the top stars who aren't necessarily big enough to warrant 10 mill a fight, want 10 mill a fight.and that puts the kibosh.

I did too. Also the first round of the Fedor fight had a bit of drama. Dude was in trouble for a sec.

And he pur it all into that punch. He knew right where Brett's head would be. Studied well.

His trainer had called it in FightCamp 360.

I don't care if you like MMA or not that guy was just born to fight.
Freakishly good, every time he's in trouble he pulls some BS out of no where and it's all over.

Rogers showed me something, though.

Fedor's nose opened bad. That high break is very bad.

His mental state is ****ing ridiculous. He just doesn't fold at any point and hes been in "trouble" time and time again and the ****ing guy doesnt flinch.

His amazing conditioning is the reason. Plus he's exciting to watch everytime.

Condition isnt the sole reason hes able to manage not to get KO/TKO, submitted or lose a decision in 31 fights.

Obviously you have have great conditioning and be one of the more athletic guys in your division but its his mental composure that allows him to time and time again get out of trouble.

the sound of that punch was sickening

he put the weight of russia into that shot

respect to Brett Rogers though, he had a couple of decent moments in the first.

that punch he took would've dropped any fighter walking

That is true. And without the proper conditioning, no amount of mental power will get anyone out of the holes he's been in.

Who has ever survived this and won on mental power alone?
