with the bleeding nose and rogers landed some punches on top i thought the upset was coming

fedor always finds a way to win....... but rogers used his strength and weight well...

Fedor rocked it, but that was a great fight, Rogers showed he is no joke by nailing Fedor with that shot that made him bleed all over and taking him down and landing some serious blows.

Rogers should have no shame in his defeat, he did much better than predicted and the only other outcomes besides this would have been him being put away in the first round or landing a big right hand. He did well against the top ranked heavyweight and should not be ashamed.

i actually like the fact that he was pissed off

he sounded like he knew he was hanging with the best HW of all-time

It was a very exciting fight, Fedor looked a bit more chubby then usual around the waist but oh well, he got the job done. The sound from that right hook sounded like the combo Lewis put on Rahman at the end of their 2nd fight. Boom!

Just some info. Fyodor had that cut going into the fight. He got it sparring with his brother Sasha and you can see it on the bridge of his nose before the fight. Rogers jab just opened it.

And those GnP shots Rogers landed were solid. If anybody had questions about Fyodor's chin before the fight you can't doubt it now. Very good chin for him to take those punches and immediately go for the armbar.
