Also, i suck at every sport known to man so i have to come on a forum and tell people how good i am at stuff, because im mr insecure. Alongside Manny_P.

I get free room and board/food and I make a good amount of money every week (I'm not sure what my wage is). Now let me tell you this, You honestly think if im not better then all the other guys taht there going to send me all the way to england and cut me after? If i was JUST AS good as all the other english guys they wouldn't pick me. You have to be better then them for them to fly you over.

Trust me, it is the minority who make it through to the real big time, and playign for a premiership side like Middlesborough is more likely to land you in rejection than it is in success.

However, no matter how many times i tell you, you still wont believe. Good luck to you, but im tellin' ya, be prepared for the rejection side of Football that you seem totally unaware of so far.

Ok...for once we're having a decent conversationw for once. this is good.

Anyways, I know what it's like down there. I have had many professional coaches and they tell me what its like there. tons, and tons of politics work into the sport. By saying "I'm going to make it big", I really mean I'm going to do all in my power to be a player in the premiership. All I need is a little luck. Look at Owen Hargreaves (from my city)...played for Bayern's youth, they were going to drop him, but an injury occured so he got sprung into a starting spot and played the best game of his life.

believe me, i know what the rejections like. I went with 3 other guys to middlesboro (by the way they have one of the best youth systems in england), and a buddy of mine got totally rejected. They told 3 of us to come back, and said the other guy just wasn't good enough. It's a dog eat dog world out there I know it. As long as I just keep working hard I'll get my chance. If I don't I'll most likely play for a 2nd tier club in England anyways, thats where most of the canadian national players play and you can still get recognition there.
