bad news for brock and the ufc
Mononucleosis or "kissing sickness" actually puts you out of physical activity for a long while, perhaps months.
They may have to strip hios belt and have an interam fight......Nog v Cane
I think he wasn't going to be done with his cycle in time for the fight...

What would be the point of stripping Lesnar of the title, and then having an interim bout?

I doubt his career will be over, but by the time he fully recovers from this and gets back into shape, it could be late next year before he fights again

are there other ways to get the "kissing disease"?
i kinda doubt his career would be over due to a cureable illness.

He'll probably be fine to fight in a few months, mono usually goes away in a few months but it is a *****. Could be half a year, all depends.

Here's the actual quote from his trainer:
“I’m not sure exactly what it is he has, mono or whatever, but I know that he was sick and couldn’t get a good, hard workout in,”
