i've seen videos of sveral boxers using resistance bands in there workouts. what exactley do these bands work.

The one's ive seen can work any muscle, depends on how you use it. They are fairly effective for edurance in your muscles if you do alot of reps. I prefer using free weights to gain maximum power and speed.

where do you get them and what exercises do you do

You can get a resistance band assembly specificaly designed for boxers out of ringsides catalogs. Look them up on the net, rinside will send you a free ctalog. The resistance stuuf is ok, I still prefer just using 2-3 lb hand weights. I used a resistance band assembly years ago with shadow boxing but found it to be restrictive and akward with certain punches. I just recommend small hand wieghts if its specificaly boxing that you are doing............Rockin' :boxing:
