Me and a friend of mine are going to start boxing this summer just for the fun of it.. I don't expect to make a future of this or anything unless I'm a prodigy but I still don't wanna look like a fool.. so I was wondering if you guys can help me out. I'm 15, about 6'1" and 160 pounds.

Save yourself a lot of trouble and just go to a gym. Don't be embarrassed, everyone who has skill was a beginner at some point. Most gyms will offer and introductory course that covers the basics.

You want to start boxing? Go to a boxing gym.
Very complicated I know.
But seriously what are these people thinking? They want to start boxing, so wouldn't the next logical step be to join a boxing gym?
