His later work doesnt add up to make him top five, in his early career he was an ABSOLUTE MONSTER who had the tenacity and lyrical ability to even take on Rakim and Big Daddy Kane in a battle.

His later work tho wasnt the same some albums werent really good, some were pretty good and some were so so in my opinion.

When you go from broke to having platinum and gold albums to cult classic movies to number one movies, I cant blame a guy for losing his hunger a bit, it would happen to all of us

Pretty much what you said. I enjoyed his last two albums. he still saying a lot more than most aritsts out right now.

He's in my top 5 of favorites probably maybe 6. All time he should be up there too. He's definitely in the top 15. Some people just can't get down to that west coast style and I understand. But they should respect him for what he's done.

He's not one of my top 25 ever but as far as rating him as one of the best he's top 12 for sure
