no he wont beat Taylor. He's shot and will get eaten alive, never amounting to anything. He's a gatekeeper and nothing more. Taylor will blow past him.

This fight is a tough fight to predict, however people will say Joppy will lose due to his last outings but you have to remember who were they against????

It is to close to call and im not making any predictions although I see it going either way...

However some key things to point out is that.

Taylor has never been rushed
Joppy puts the most pressure on any fighter in the ring for the first half and falls off the horse on the second half.

How Taylor can handle the pressure will be a deciding factor.

I wouldnt be surprised by an upset or a win from taylor.

No. You have to remember who they were against. That's the reason why he's shot. Joppy was a great fighter but Tito ruined him. People make a big deal about the Hopkins fight but if you have seen Joppy before then you know that wasnt the same guy. Tito ruined him

While that may be, I still think Joppy has one last bang in him, Now if his layoff did him any good that is to be seen especially since it wasnt a layoff for peace but legal battles...

Everyone is going to have their general opinions about a certain fighter, But I dont think Joppy should be counted out against Taylor.....

DLT, Joppy was never a great fighter but he was good fighter. I think he is finished but if he does have anything left he can give Taylor a hell of a fight and even beat him.

I Think It Will Be A Real Close Fight But In The End Taylor By Split Decision.

Joppy will go out and put early pressure on Talyor...can he take it? I feel he can and will win by UD because of later round dominations.

Agreed. Joppy was just a good fighter. I also think he could give Taylor a good fight if he has something left, but it's a different reason for me. I like Taylor, but I do think he's overated. Dont get me wrong. The kid has mad talent but sometimes he looks uncordinated, and I dont think he'll ever realize how good he is. Sometimes he looks like he can just blow guys away but all he does is jab. He has a great jab but it is way overused. If he wants to beat some of the top guys he has to show more of a arsenal

Id hate to **** in your cereal, if taylor dictates the pace past 4 rounds it will be lopsided.....Joppy is a 6 round fighter usually less.

I would like joppy to win and fight trinidad. I really dont wanna see that fight but i would like trinidad to shut his mouth. But hopefully taylor wins, isnt this taylors first real test at middleweight?

Joppy is good, but he just can't win the big fights...Taylor will jab joppy's nose off..Joppys going to try to walk taylor down and brawl with him and ruff Taylor up, but he will eat lefts and rights all night

I just can't see Joppy getting past that big, long jab.

He'll stick it to the final bell, but I can't see how he beats Taylor.

Does anybody think that they're going to give Taylor the gift decision, and then they'll be a rematch and Taylor will dominate him?

I thought Hopkins just about ended all that Joppy had in him, but who knows what your gonna get with a fighter comming off a long layoff.

Now matter what kind of Joppy comes to fight he will be a heck of a lot more talented that Raul Marquez, but still I'm putting my money on Jermain Taylor.

I think Joppy's days as a top middleweight are over, I think we will see the full emergence of a new star on Dec.4.

I think the beating Joppy took against Bernard will have an effect.

Not many people get over a hammering like that. Taylor, in reality, is beating a former champ's leftovers...albeit still decent leftovers.
