I don`t get it! He beats Roy Jones and Tarver in successive fights. He is named fighter of the year and is reconized ( on paper ) as the best lightheavy in the world. There was talk of a Tarver rematch. There was talk of a hopkins rematch and so on. He is in a commanding position money wise going into any fight. He is approaching his late 30`s and hasn`t got long at the top. I realzie he should study his options but it is April and there is no news to his next fight!
So, does anyone know whats going on or can we expect Johnson to sign a fight in September and get outhustled because of ring rust and age?

He should fight Tiozzo or one of the other Lt Heavyweight title holders and try to unify the belts. Tiozzo or Erdei

Johnson Losses

Lost to Julio Caesar Gonzales by SD

Lost genuine clear descsion to Derrick Harom

Lost a MD to Omar Sheika

Lost a UD to Silvio Branco

Lost a clear UD to Syd Vanderpool

Lost a close UD to Sven Ottke

Lost a SD to Joseph Kiwanuka

Lost a UD to Merqui Sosa

Only TKO loss was to Bernhard Hopkins

Lots of SD and MD "losses" for Glencoff

But he has lost clearly to Silvio Branco, Hopkins, Harmon,

Silvio Branco shut him out I think

You people need to leave Johnson alone. He has to wake up for work in the morning. Oh and BTW, does anyone know Glen's phone number? I need him to build me a dogghouse in the backyard. Either that, or clean my pool. I am sure I can find something for the "working man" to do.

Johnson is a journeyman who has got better as he`s gone on. But your right, with all those loses its clear that Johnson will not dominate the division for too long. I`d pick Tarver in a rematch and give Clinton Woods a chance in a rematch. Johnson needs big money fights as he could lose to ANYONE!!

He has 3 real genuine losses maybe 4 at the most.

He was dominated only twice

By Bernard Hopkins L TKO

And he was shut out by Silvio Branco

He lost like 8 rounds to 4 against Harmon.

the amount of pay-per-view fights coming out this year is amazing. even if johnson tarver 2 is not on pay per view, it will be very difficult to find a time slot for the fight and promote it.

the johnsnon tarver fight almost replaced the Vitalit-Rahman fight, but don got his boy Ruiz in there. Otherwise this fight would be next month.

Glen Johnson's time is almost up. Tarver is going to beat him in a rematch. After their rematch, though, I'd say both Tarver and Johnson have nothing left to do at 175lbs. Tarver can go to heavyweight and Johnson could hopefully try to lure a fight with Bernard Hopkins, but no one will care about seeing that **** after Tarver knocks Johnson unconcious.

I think Tarver would get bullied at heavyweight

I agree that Tarver will beat Johnson in a rematch but i don`t think it`ll be a KO. Johnson only loses by KO if he becomes old over night!
