Alright kids, this was a pretty good fight. But what I can't understand is how in the hell did one of the judges had the fight scored 30-27 for Koscheck and the other 2 had it for Sanchez.

ROund 1 was a pretty even Round and it could have gone to either fighter; I gave it to Diego. Round 2 I gave to Koscheck just because he landed some leg kicks and a couple of takedowns (Josh never tries to advance position after takedowns). The 3 Round was Diego's. Now, my question is how can that ****ing judge score the fight 30-27?
Taking someone down and then staying there laying and pray should not score points for the fighter, this is not ****ing Abu Dhabi. Laying and praying should not be rewarded.

Anyway, it was a really good fight. I found myself yelling "knees, ****ing knees Diego" at the TV for the first time since watching the show. Can't wait for the next episode.

hahaha I did the same thing when he kept going for the damn standing guillotine chokes. 2 minutes later his corner must have heard us and started yelling the same thing.
Koscheck was hurt in the 3rd but Diego ran out of gas and couldn't finish. I had rounds 1 and 3 to Diego and round 2 a draw with maybe a slight edge to Koscheck.
I have no clue where 30-27 came from. Maybe it was the judge they showed running back to the table right after the fight.
I'm cheering for Kenny F. in the MW finals but I think Diego is too big for him.

Kenny is naturally welterweight/lightweight. Diego has a very sloppy stand up, but like you said Diego's size will make the difference.

P4P I'd say Kenny is a better fighter. I'd like to see him back if they do WW next time. The guy looks smaller than me and he's fighting MWs on the show, gotta give him another shot.

I really though Deago was going to completely dominate Koschek. I was wrong, though he won, Koschek put up a great fight and showed a good chin. Did you see how bruised up he was after that fight? We will see him again, as for the majority of the fighters throughout the entire season, I think they will be back, at least in the UFC for a couple fights. I really think Deago will go all the way. He is very young, and looks good now, just think how well he will be able to slap the Guilitine on in a couple years.

Ok my 2cents.

Diego is a normal 170lbs fighter due to the fact that his training partner Joey Villaseñor is the middle weight (185lbs) champ for KOTC.

I think that the fact that Diego has to fight at a heavier weight and that affects his normal cardio that he is know for.

Kenny is a tough guy with good BJJ. However Diego is much more agrressive and bigger. Besides he has much more experience than Kenny and that counts for alot.

You can see the face of Kenny after the fight. He does not want any of Dieggo in the ring. I wish him the best of luck, but I do not give him much chances to win.
