I think the boxers on that sh*w ****ed up by voting Peter Manfredo Jr. back in.. He seems to be more focused after that loss and may now peak at the right time!! I say Manfredo is the next Contendor, what say you?

he didn't look to confident goin in against Miguel or at least thats what nbc made it look like on their episode recap. the victory though would give him a lot of confidence which could be a danger to the other contestents. I would have liked to see jonathon getting voted back in as he was the favourite in my eyes before the defeat. Right now i think its a toss up between Sergio,Peter,Ishe and Alfonso. Cant quite decide between the 4 of them.

Ya know tarrick Salmaci and i used to fight out of the same gym when we were both younger pros. The man has some boxing ability. Good movement, good jab. He does not like to stand and trade at all but I could see him doing very well against any of those guys. Its funny, but when I went down and auditioned for the contender it was tarrick and I that were matched to work the very first day. Thats a long story but he was selected and not me, so I wish him well in the competition. He just sort of keeps out of the spot light in the show but watch when he is chosen to fight. Like I said, real good movement and really nice jab. Light in the power department but being the type of fighter that he is he does not need to rely on power............Rockin' :boxing:

sweet!. It would of been great to see you on the show but **** happens. I personally want to see Alfonso or Jesse win purely on the fact that they stood up for a fight when others didn't (i.e Ishe not fightin Ahmed when he had the chance to 1st time round).

yeah, I havent seen tarick stand up volunteering for anything, but thats just his nature. You may get to see me, hell, I might get to see me on the show. My old manager is on the show, Jackie, and all of the guys from the galaxy stable that showed up had our pictures taken and everything as a big group. It was fun seeing all of those guys again. So maybe if they show any part of the beginning of it all you might see me. But most likely not...............Rockin' :)

That what I dont understand, why would the west all vote on manfredo? Reid was tough no doubt about it but he is the oldest and at that age at that weight I could see him getting outworked by some of the younger guys. Manfredo was fresh and retarded on the West especially since they had more fighters left. The team will fall apart.

The producers did. Check out the unaired clips on the site for the contender and see that 5 of the yellow squad wanted reid. While the East only had 4. Why would you vote back someone that was the favorite from day 1?
When the payday is 1 million? I think the show beat it into some of these guys head to vote manfredo back. You can just tell when you look at thier expressions when alfonso picked manfredo and when he was winning the fight and actually won.

Cant none of them fight till the show is over. They get a 1500 "traning stipend" a week. Manfredo coming back is crap. There is a supposed rumor that someone else gets brought back to the show because of a winner getting a cut or something and cant continue in the tournament. It smells rigged. Most of the people interviewed from the winning team wanted Jonathan reid to come back. 5-3 from the west. while the east only had 4 players left. Why da ****!! would you vote back the clear cut favorite? I really believe that threw credibility out the window for this show. 5 rounders that are official? and counts on thier records? Some of these guys who have already fought 12 rounders and for world/fringe titles? Absurd.

They should have made it 7rounds instead with less adverts or cut off more unimportant drama. I thought Sergio was gonna win right from the start, he had the eye of the tiger, lol.

Sergio. If that's true, the ****ing show is rigged. It should be Ishe and Manfredo in the finals, now that Manfredo is back.

It's not a real boxing show, but I'll continue to watch it. They should go, at the very least, 8 round fights. 5 rounds is nothing, it's two more than an amateur fight, and many of these guys are WAY above that level (Ishe, Jonathan, and Peter were all well above that). It's a bull**** show, but still kinda fun to watch. I just wish I could get the whole fight.

1) They know that for the average person, the drama is what captivates them first.

2) Most non-boxing fans are not too interested watching a chess-match boxing. The show is suppose to bring new people to the show, to do that you have to make them like boxing...they do this by showing the best parts of the fights. I know when I wasnt a boxing fan, I use to think tactical fights were so boring. People have to get used to watching a sport first and get familiar with the people to like it.
