WENDELL Sailor last night did what everyone else has thought of doing - he put Warwick Capper on his pants.

Probably the only regret for the St George sIllawarra uperstar - and for everyone else watching at Star City Casino, reports Byron Kaye - was that Sailor didn't get to knock out the AFL has-been, who called it quits 53 seconds into the third round.

The footy code rivals were part of a promotional boxing match for charity.

But the result didn't exactly reflect the players' pre-match performance, with Sailor slinking out with little fanfare, barechested and ready to go.

Almost from the start, the former Sydney Swan - in fine shape for 46 - made frequent knock-kneed trips to the ropes.

Sailor has promised to donate half his prize to the Samoan Tsunami appeal.

Truth is he would obviously beat Wendell.

Having said that don't confuse getting the Australian HW title with being the best heavy in Australia. He has never even come close to being that. Noone cares about that title and that was the only reason he was ever able to get it. He is a horrible, horrible boxer.

it is SO obvious that Wendell Did not care about the Charity, its so Obvious he just wants his Name in the News in the Off Season because his afraid Saints will Drop him, So he isnt going to let anyone forget about him just yet.

This makes me Sick, its time for Australian Boxing to Stop this BS, and Stop making our sport Look like a Joke.

Yep, Australian boxing is a circus.. and the media always catter to these freak show acts rather then supporting our young up and comers and trying to get there names out there.
