From what I've seen of Zidane, he is pretty good I like how he handles the ball, but I don't know who is the greatest. I only watch the World Cup.

Yeah, I knew that game pissed off alot of people from England. I knew a kid named Iain from Camden, England (I think..) he was devasted when they loss..

basically we weren't up to it on the day. I've mixed feelings on Owen, if the Portugese were springing the offside trap Owen with his experience should have dealt with it better. He probably wasn't getting the service he requires as Beckham was overweight and not up to the mark. My overriding memory from that match is that ****y ****head Ronaldo who plays for Man Utd fouling Ashley Cole out of sight of the ref and running off laughing about it. man I hate that **** head. Whenever there's trouble on the pitch he's there pushing and shoving, he's a proper runt and it's about time someone took his ****ing head off :mad:

I would have guessed you hated Rivaldo more....everybody I know who hates Brazil calls Rivaldo a cheater, because of that injury he faked to kill time off of the clock in the last world cup. I forget who they were playing, though...

ronaldinho is the "World Player Of The Year" so you cant really argue against him being the best player in the world lol, Deco got European Player of the year even tho ronaldinho plays in the european leagues, so the whole system is a bit screwed up, i dont think u can really pick one player thats the best in the world, as they are all good at what they do, henry is an amazing player and can do pretty much nethin with the ball in the other half but if u need a defender u have players like nesta etc who are solid at the back and not much will get past them, i dont think that you can really generalaise a position to pick one player thats best in world.

The best player right now might be Pavel Nedved. At least on my list. Ronaldinho, Adriano, Shevchenko and Ballack being the runners up.

My favourite player is still Zinedine Zidane though.

Zidane has to be the best...in terms of consistency he's been world player of the year a few times now I think & is always up there in the voting. Has better vision than anyone in the game & makes his teammates look good by creating goals rather than scoring them.

Also...f#$k man u ....it doesn't matter now anyway cos Abramovich bought the league title anyway...hahahaha...I like Newcastle & Arsenal...

So it was the shared baths that brought your love of the game to the fore then ;) I used to drink with a guy who played for a local team. On his first tour to France he was "initiated" by having a Head and Shoulders shampoo bottle shoved up his arse in the showers :eek: Glad I stuck with netball ;)
