i've just got back from my boxing session and i am kinda frustrated.

i started of like every other session, but as soon as i started well like 6 minutes in i felt dehydrated, i dont know why sometimes i just randomly get dehydrated and i find it really annoying! i had a little drink before i went but im not sure if it was enough.

do you guys know what can make you feel really dehydrated?

i dont have asthma or anything like that

thanks

there's the obvious question that pops up, u drinking enough water?

probably not but then again i allways have some before i go but i never drink much water through the day so i dont know why sometimes i am and sometimes im not.

does what you eat have an affect on it and when you eat it?

I heard there's a bunch of food and drinks that dehydrate you, so yes. Follow this rule of thumb, if you piss yellow, you need water.

green tea or some sort of natural tea shouldn't dehydrate you.

Wrong, if you piss dark and cloudy, you need water. Usually a neon green or bright yellow piss is indicative of high amounts of water soluble (B) Vitamins.

To the OP just drink more water

Watch out for any kind of salts and drink before you get thirsty during workouts,

I got asthma and i get dehydrated ALL the time, no matter how much i drink but i discovered that what foods you eat takes a big part of your bodily fluids

Alcohol, sex, salty foods....those in excess will dehydrate you to a greater extreme than being inconsistent on your water intake. And as was mentioned in a prior post, you should be smashing water as often as possible even when your thalamus isn't triggering a thirst response.

Bring a cold bevarage drink with you whenever you drink. Put the drink in the freezer before you head to the gym.
