I dont particularly care for either fighter though. I do see why someone may like Ruiz. He does have the best record in the heavyweight division IMO, not a list full of nobodies who almost got their head torn off in the first round of a fight.

I can not stand James Toney, and would love to see Ruiz knock him out. I do not think it will happen though, for Toney is far too skilled defensively, and has a granite chin. I think Toney's effective punching will be the tell tale sign also.

I still want to see Ruiz win. That I will say, and I will make this post "non-anonymous".

Do you even understand how P4p works? Natural heavyweights are not even put on it because they cannot prove how good they are p4p by going up in class, because they are already in the highest weight class.

It works like this. If Toney and Vitali were the same weight, who would win? Who has the better skills p4p...TONEY! Duh. Anybody from any country knows this. It is not an American thing. p4p is not the same as who would win if they fought straight up. I think Toney is funny as hell and yes I definitely want Toney to win. He is one of my favorite heavyweights but that's just b/c the heavyweight division sucks. Toney hasn't really proven himself yet, but I like his chances. He's definitely got more pure boxing skill than most of those heavyweights. I do wonder how he'd hold up against the power of some of those guys. Guess we'll see, although he is elusive, not quite as much as he used to be. And that achillies thing could screw up his movement some.

I don't think Toney has what it takes to be a good heavyweight although I do think he will beat Ruiz. Vitali could beat either of them with one hand tied behind his back.

I like Toney's chances against Vitali b/c I think Vitali lacks much skill at all. He's got some power and a good chin, but otherwise he's a slow, sloppy fighter. I'm not falling for HBO's illusion.

Remember, Wladimir was the better of the two brothers before he met Corrie Sanders. HBO has successfully pulled the switch-a-roo and made the public buy this bull**** that Vitali is the true heir apparent to Lennox's crown. I don't buy it for a second.
