vargas tryed to do a sort of call out to castellijo
and merchant cut him off in the middle of it
plus bunch of other times he kept cutting him off
maybe hes still mad about pac gettin owned

he does dat alot to sum ppl. he'll just cut them off or try to change what they said to make them sound like a bad person. I hope Merchant gets punched in the face by a heavyweight

Yeah, Larry Merchant does that to all of the people he interviews. He always demands that fighters directly answer the questions that he is asking, and he doesn't like boxers to take time to thank people or anything like that. I think that it is unreasonable, considering the emotional and mental state a boxer is in after just fighting twelve rounds in front of thousands of people. You can only expect them to be so sharp.

Merchant is such a morron! He come in the ring after one hour of brawl between two fighters with blood on their trunks and he expect everybody in the ring to be calm and quiet while he ask his long ass pointless questions! He really think he deserve respect cause in his head he's a wise man or some kind of a boxing poet.

merchant acts like an @ss most of the time. I have respect for him but I can't help but LMAO after RJJ argued with him in the Pac-EM fight.

Merchant is an old, grumpy, spiteful, and often drunk sounding man who hates everybody, not just el Feroz... That being said, I can't get enough of him! I want him to have his own daily show for god's sake, I could watch this guy EVERY DAY!! I mean, did anybody hear him droning on before the Eastman/Hopkins fight about birds and bubble gum?!?! The most unintentionally comedic thing I have ever heard!

He's rude to all of them except Barrera (noticed that in the post fight interview of Barrera-Morales 3) but I got the srrong impression all during the Vargas fight that he liked him..ALOT! Him and Lampley kept going on and on all during the fight, while Manny Steward was the only one that mentioned anything that Joval was doing! :eek:

yeah, the whole bubble gum thing was pointless and then he said that in howard eastmans last fight he looked like he was 1000 years old with the crazy blonde hair and beard. merchant is a dick but he is funny without trying to be.

i'd like you guys to try and say this **** to Larry Merchants face. A real commentator is way more respectable than some pansy posters. He would kick your ass.
