How do you deal with a Zelenoff type of guy? I have a guy like that in my gym and he keeps talking about how great he is. He says he started boxing this year and that he'll fight in the MGM in 7 months. He's the lanky but doesn't pivot when he throws punches, has no skills and doesn't haven no power whatsoever. It's OK when you're a beginner but the dude is acting like he's Ali.
He's a good guy but he acts gangsta too much and might be upset once he fights for real.
IMO it's better to be overconfident than not being confident at all, but ****iness is the mother of embarrassement when you can't back it up.

To talk to him and make him realise he's gonna get his ass kicked if he sparrs with us. I made the mistake to tell him that if he's confident and works hard, he could be good one day. He doesn't understand what i meant.
I think he's gonna have to learn the hard way.

get in a match, First, punch him in the face, hard. Let him know you mean business. Then out class him, with no talking at the end.
If you cant do that then he'll just keep running his mouth.
