What will be the outcome folks?

I voted for "Vargas by Decision". And I feel it might be a "gift one" at that. It has been a while since Vargas has gone the entire 12 rounds in a fight, but I feel he will tonight.

Except it is a 10 round fight. My bad.

Joval, motivated, agressive, in shape and never been stopped beats a rusty, unmotivated to meet him, ****y and shaken confidence in his capabilities Vargas into agreeing with his corner to retire late.

And probably for good.

no i think vargas wins by decision. he shows that he can still fight, uses his jab and his one twos, and his left hooks
takes him to a decision, but a good fight, tht shows vargas's skills

You guys quickly forget about the Ferocious One and how he manhandles inferior opposition....Joval is average at best, and Fernando is gonna make him pay for his mediocrity....just because Oscar and Tito KO'd Fernando, doesn't mean that he'll fall short vs. soft competition....I'll take Fernando with a workmanlike stoppage around round 10

I'll go the safe way and say Vargas by decision.

Vargas by TKO KO, Joval is too old for him.

Vargas will stagger Joval in every round before ending things in 4rds.

I wouldn't say Joval is top competition but he is a good fighter.

Fight seems to be even, tho the annoucers are making it into a shut out, Vargas seems to get hit alot, if he throws more and doesnt stop he could KO this guy, stanima issuses but still hes a worthy oppent for anybody at Middleweight, better than Eastman I bet.

Well, either way Vargas will win on the score cards, but he seems to have the upperhand in a close fight, there was one un-scored Knockdown by Vargas too (I think).
